So, I sent in my paperwork and the check back in October.

The check was cashed Oct 25.

The website still doesn’t say “In Process”.

The wife’s was received on the 27th and says it has been in process since the 27th.

How long has it been taking for you guys? Our trip is in March.

frick.

Now I’m worried 5 fricking months won’t be enough. That is insane.

Our government fricking sucks at performing basic government functions.

Mine was a renewal. Not sure if that matters as far as timeline goes.

The problem is that I sent my passport in with paperwork in October, so I’ll be sending it in without the passport this time.

True. There is a customer service number on their website. Can’t imagine how long that would take to talk to someone.

I seem to be the outlier, but from the date mine was received, it was in my mailbox in 3 weeks. Got the old passport back the next week. This was last month.

ETA - looks like it's moving faster for people in the last couple months.

There is no customer service.

Our government is fricking useless.

I can’t even reach someone to schedule an appt for the in person renewal application I now have to do since the useless fricking postal service and government agencies seem to have fricked this whole process up.
