55 players on depth chart. Not counting Kickers. 17 including Emory on INJ list.

Arkansas has 45 on depth chart. But, they only have 2 injuries.

Yep
Big problem as to why LSU has struggled to stay above 500
Injuries - most legit
Opt outs
Using injuries as opt out
Getting ready for draft

You are not gonna compete for championships with that roster deficiency

Roster management is the first problem that needs to be addressed

We were struggling when we had a majority of these players.

The opt outs and those mailing it in don't happen if the team is in a position to compete. Once they hit 2 conference losses, you know you really aren't playing for much. Add the fact that they need to beat Ark or A&M (maybe both) to even have a shot at a bowl game, anyone planning to leave after the season would only be interested in improving draft position or protecting themselves from injury

According to this, we have more players active in the NFL than active on the team.

Not a single player for the 2021 LSU team has opted out.

They all signed a contract with the school to play and they will receive free room and board with free tuition. Breaking a contract for opting out or a nagging injury that you had for a year or two should be grounds for termination of said contract. In our world this is how it is done. It is time for a reality check.

The amount of injuries is bad, but 55 is more than what's allowed on an active NFL roster.

Change the culture. It’ll happen once your hero is gone. Those soft practices have really paid off injury wise

It appears we’re only going to have 8 offensive lineman?

What the hell...

8 Scholarship offensive linemen... I'm sure there is a 6 foot 1 255 lb guard waiting for the opportunity to show what he's got!

At least that guy appreciates the chance to play for the Tigers (sarcasm, but only slightly)

What does that even mean? Does someone come in and waive the magic culture change stick?
