-Coach will be extremely expensive and reset the market
-Absolutely will be sitting P5 head coach, or higher(I assume he means NFL)
-Will not be Napier or Fickell. Absolutely will not be Campbell

He was one of the first to have Coach O being fired. He has decent sources in the SEC.

Never heard of this guy or his podcast, have no idea who his sources are or if he even has any…but I like what he said so I’m going to choose to believe it.

Godfrey was one of the local reporters that covered the Leo Lewis “bagman” recruiting scandal between Mississippi State and Ole Miss about five years ago.
He features heavily in SB Nation’s video series about that: LINK
I don’t know how well informed he is on our coaching search, but he certainly has legit contacts in the college football world, especially the SEC. I’d value his opinion on this more than most of the college football reporters I’ve seen.

This guy has been covering college football for a long time and has legit sources. He’s on the Split Zone Duo podcast too which is one of the best out there if you’re not listening to it.
