I've always wanted to get mine tested but i dont trust the government having my data, plus i had my fun in college and my 20s and dont need a kid knocking on my door.

Are those stories BS?

Apparently my DNA is untraceable and they don’t know where I came from

We had this thread a few weeks ago. There were some interesting stories I think one guy found out he had a daughter.

I think the results would be interesting but not enough for me to want to take the test due to the potential downsides. Screw all that. I was a wild teenager

My dad did one so I'll just refer to his results.

You'd like to think... but I wouldn't be so sure.

I sent my dog's DNA in. It came back that he's kin to both Wilt Chamberlain and Brittany Murphy. Odd.

My uncle took the test. He got messaged by a woman saying they matched. Turns out my grandfather knocked up some woman before going over seas to war. So I have another aunt now.

My 90 y/o Aunt has mostly Irish and some German on her mother's side, and presumably at least some French on her father's side (Boudreaux). Her daughter got DNA tests for Christmas a few years ago.
The results showed she was something like 23% Greek. She's a tall, blonde with green eyes. It was amazing to see how annoyed she was!

I only did it because my dad was adopted and he never knew the family. Turns out his mom was a prostitute. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

My Friend's wife found out her Dad wasn't actually her bio Dad when she was around 30 due to a DNA kit. Said it was really awkward confronting him and her Mom, but they confessed right away.

Bet they won’t put that story in the commercial. It’s all “I never knew I had royal blood!” Or “I’m descended from a war hero!”
