The new Star Wars-themed hotel Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, coming to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, is now almost fully booked until mid-June of 2022 according to the Disney booking page for the hotel. Bookings began on October 28th, and many worried that because of the hotels’ high ticket prices it wouldn’t sell well. However, skeptics have clearly been proven wrong, now that the first three months are fully booked, with only a few in June 2022 left available.

The lowest price for the two-night stay on the Halcyon, the starcruiser you board while staying there, is $4,809 for two guests, with increases to $5,299 for three guests and $6,000 for four guests. Keep in mind these are starting prices.

No kids so this is easy money for me to spend. My bath robe better be a jedi robe too

I don’t like Star Wars.
I am happy for people that are creating memories for themselves.
As long as they don’t ask me to bail them out later with taxpayer funds.

True. The Disney obsession is so odd to me. I'm sure it's nice, I went once years ago, but everything is billionaire expensive there now. I bet a family of 5 eating lunch in one of the parks is $150.

Amen.
I'm sure I'll eventually bring my little man, but the people that make it an annual pilgrimmage are strange.

To be fair, the dorks at Disney will be counting that money.

It's one thing to bring your kid, but if you're a couple going there by yourselves then you've got a problem

Not gonna lie, kinda want. Build my own lightsaber and everything. Just go full on nerd. But not at the prices they were tossing out there for just a few nights.

What is weirder, them or the weirdos so obsessed with hating on them for having a passion for Disney World that does not have any negative impact on society and makes them happy?

People literally spend tens of thousands of dollars just so they can post pictures on social media that they're at Disney World, and for some reason that gets people jealous and they then go spend tens of thousands of dollars to post that they too are at Disney World.
It's amazing work they've done to fleece suburbanites of their cash.

How was your Disney honeymoon? Did they give you Mickey Mouse condoms?

I would say 5 grownups is probably 60ish bucks. If it's 2 grownups and 3 kids probably 40ish.

better come with hookers and blow for that price.

It's comments like these that let people know you're ignorant of all the offerings Disney World has. I know couples that go to Disney and never set foot in the parks.
I also know people that would prefer going without their kid.

The cost of Disney is just insane. For that you could travel out of country to some incredible places.

I accidentally clicked on this thread and care zero about Disney, but I find it hard to believe 5 people are eating lunch anywhere for $60 unless they’re getting sandwiches with no sides and no drinks. Even outside of Disney, that’s hard to do.

My wife and I lived in Georgia when I was in grad school. Orlando was only a few hours away. We did 2 days in Disney and 2 days in Universal and had a fricking blast. Fast forward ten years, we took my daughter when she turned 3 and are taking our son next Mardi Gras as he is turning 3. We did sneak in a bonus trip during the Pandemic. We paid about $2500 for 6 days including food and flight and the park was at 50%.
I am not a Disney every year guy, but I have enjoyed it when we go. It is pricey but it doesn't have to be outrageous if you do it appropriately.
