Are Christian’s sheep?

The Bible mentions the flock quite frequently. Does that make followers of Christ sheeplike in mindset or due to free will not sheep?

The biblical analogy is that Jesus is the Shepherd. He will always take care of his herd. The political analogy of sheep =/= the biblical analogy.

Faith in a plan/purpose coupled with a set of guiding principles give meaning and hope to people. Net net I think it’s good for the human psyche. If adhering to that via organized religion makes someone a sheep, then sure, I guess Christians are “sheep.”
