Democrats used to be against such things...
Um, Al Gore’s wife was at the forefront of this.

PRMC started by Tipper Gore.

Technically not a “southern” rock band, though their style on this tune is.

This mofo just put R.Kelly & Led Zeppelin in a sentence together. That is as big of an atrocity as any so called “racist event”

Bill Clinton committed aggravated rape more than once. They won’t be canceling him.

Perfect, go ahead and turn musicians and artists against you, too.

I wonder what Trump hating cucks like Dee Snider, Tommy Lee and Sebastian Bach think about this. I'll be hanging on their every word

They’re going to purge everything except state sponsored propaganda, and because no one owns physical media anymore, it will be gone forever. That’s why I never joined the streaming revolution and stuck with physical cds and mp3s.
Stop being paranoid grandpa. You can still have your problematic music

You can keep your doctor, you can keep your confederate monument, you can keep your founding father, you can keep your internet, you can keep your school name, you can keep your tv episodes, you can keep your guns, you can keep your job, where have I heard this one before?

Unfortunately, a couple months ago, itunes made it where you cannot add downloaded tracks to iTunes without going through several extra steps to convert the files and beat the algorithm, but I bet most folks will be quickly discouraged and won’t figure it out.
That’s not true. Bought a couple of three albums the other day off of Amazon, and dragged them right into Music. BTW, iTunes doesn’t exist anymore.

So when do they go hard at professional and collegiate sports?

Itunes does exist still. The issue is with tracks not downloaded from the main online retailers (amazon, itunes, google play, bandcamp, etc). It’s clearly an anti-piracy measure, but will be used to stem the sharing of music that has been purged from those online stores.

On a personal level it's become impossible for me to enjoy R. Kelly, Led Zeppelin, and David Bowie after reading about the crimes (statutory rapes/kidnappings) they were committing while writing and performing songs I previously enjoyed.
Just don't listen to them and start listening to your psychotherapist

Apologies, you are correct. Apple ditched iTunes for Macs a while ago, and it’s as easy as ever to get new music on. They are fricking you Windows folks.

At the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of assholes continuously trying to tell us all what to do. frick every last one of them.

Did you forget that Al and Tipper Gore were front-and-center in this movement? Another example similar to Dem Jim Crow leaders now being the leaders of the Civil rights movement.

Stones reluctantly not including Brown Sugar in current US tour. This is a totally stupid society.

Recall that the Senate hearings on rock lyrics were lead by... drumroll... Al Gore, at the behest of his then-wife Tipper, who went on to head the Parents Music Resource Center.
