Opinions regarding their quality? Thank you.

I'm beginning to understand more about them. You'll be the first to know once I know about their quality.

I have a 2017 G80. Transmission went out at 55K miles and took forever to get replaced because of Covid. Otherwise it has been a great car.

From a repairer’s view- They are a really nice, well put together, well thought-out vehicle. There’s a lot of electronics (which come with their own problems), features and comforts. Test drives have been really nice.

Pretty good. Cheaper to maintain than german luxury brands, but not as comfortable and lacking some style in the interior.
I’m not sure about reliability relative to the Japanese or American luxury brands.

Not good in the California hills.

My brother's 1 yr old Genesis just had the infotainment system replaced because the screen started peeling. That's all I got

I would have bought a 2022 G70 if the back seat had 4 more inches of legroom. With a 6’ person driving there was only about 2” between the back of the front seat and the back seat.
All the same features tech and drivetrain wise as a stinger, just more of a luxury brand as the Stinger is the sports brand.
And yes, they are all the same company. The engine is exactly the same as the Stinger, just different badging.
ETA: it hauls arse too. 0-60 in 4.6. I ended up getting the Lexus ES350 Fsport because the gas mileage was atrocious and I drive 100 miles a day. I at least got the Black Special Edition so it seems like it’s not such a mom car.

Bought a 2016 with about 52,000 miles in March. Last year the car was still branded as Hyundai Genesis instead of just Genesis. It's essentially the same as the 17 and 18 G80.
Absolutely love it. No problems so far (knocking on wood). Exterior is aggressive sporty. Interior is well appointed, well constructed, and roomy as hell. Bigger than my wife's ES350. Large screen, panoramic sunroof and pretty much every option you could want or think of.
Ride is smooth and quiet. The 3.8 liter V6 engine is powerful and the car is pretty quick.
Overall love it.

I worked in South Korea about the time that the Hyundai Equus was making its way to the US. They make great cars with an awesome warranty. To be fair, there is a stigma associated with the brand because of the years of economy offerings. They’ve done a ton of work to rebrand, and I think for the money, it’s hard to beat. Resale will be tough, so it’s a long term buy

That doesn't take much effort.
