If you’re Lincoln Riley would you rather coach OU or LSU in the SEC? Easy answer

I’d rather be OC to Mel Tucker than live in Oklahoma.

No thanks. His teams are soft but he does attract good QB's. Can't see him leaving OU.

I’d take Norman over BR.

Do you think that’s a Lincoln Riley problem or the inability for Oklahoma to attract recruits from the country’s top area of high school talent — the Southeast

Easily LSU. At that point you'd be facing SEC teams every week, and it's a lot easier to get 5 star defenders to come to LSU than Oklahoma.

So a guy that’s undefeated and about to make his 4th playoff appearance in the last 5 years is gonna jump ship to a team most likely in his same division?

Oh and with the Heisman favorite for 2 more years.

GTFO

How many playoff wins does he have? Will he make the playoffs with OU once they are in the SEC? You give him the talent LSU attracts and OU is an afterthought! Y’all are proving my point for me.

If OU was to stay in the Big 12 then probably OU. Less competition, hes the big fish etc. Since they are moving to the SEC I would think LSU. Based on the $millions that he would get, the cumulative talent being better and easier to recruit in state. I think LSU is better equipped to win the division and get to a NC game once OU is in the SEC.

It’s a whole lot easier to recruit LA talent to stay in home at LSU, than it is to recruit out of state talent to go to OU. OUs lifeline is TX recruiting, and right now they are losing those battles to Jimbo and Sark.

Caleb Williams is not enough to convince him to stay at Oklahoma. Dude had Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, and Jalen Hurts, ALL heisman contenders/winners, all currently starting NFL QBs, and still lost round one of the playoffs.

If he's going to the SEC anyway, wouldn't it make sense majorly to be doing it at LSU rather than Oklahoma? I just stated about Oklahoma getting 5 star defensive talent, did you know that if they maintain this guy they have in this 2022 class it will be the first 5 star defensive player that Riley has gotten since being a head coach? If you look at ANY top tier talented schools, they have multiple 5 star defensive players on their field, hell some on the bench. Hell not just 5 stars, how about top 100 recruits on defense? In the last two classes LSU has had 10 top 100 overall recruits on defense, Oklahoma had 7 over the past 5 classes with only 1 coming in the last 2 classes.

Basically what I'm saying is that Riley, if he actually wants to leave, can set up shop here and wreck shite like he has never before. LSU doesn't need a genius defensive coordinator, but we do need somebody that utilizes a modern defensive scheme and actually makes in game adjustments. We get that, and we already have the talent to become elite on defense again. His offense speaks for itself.

Never said Woodward is overrated. You either have reading comprehension issues or

BR has become an unappealing town. BR being a shadow of its former self has nothing to do with being an LSU fan.
