He knew along he was going to be AD at LSU and Jimbo was his coach. So Bring Jimbo in to establish a relationship let A&M pay the money while Jimbo is on loan be a little better than mediocre but beat Alabama. With O as head coach he knew it was just a matter of time before he could bring Jimbo in and not pay a buyout. They are already ahead of the game and Jimbo already has years of good SEC experience.on A&M’s dime

Jimbo has been average at best at ATM. Why in the hell would LSU hire someone who has a ton of resources where he is now and can’t put together a competitive team? They lose 3-5 games every year.

LSU is a premier athletic university. It has enough money to pay a coach $10-12M a year...and the best they can do is Jimbo Fisher.
Let that sink in. There is a problem somewhere...either decision makers, politics or cultural.
