I've had baseball tickets since 1985...of all the sports baseball is easily the best overall...
Too me if you enjoy college sports that's one of the advantages of living in a college town...
Stubhub allows you to cherry pick what games you want to attend...but it's not cheap...the advantage of being a season ticket holder is sitting with the same group of people each game...this is especially true in baseball

How did you manage to afford that when you were a child?

I enjoy having my season tickets for football and I have no plans on not renewing next year. We go to every game and we enjoy the tailgates, the games, and sitting in the same seats with the same people

If we lived in BR we would have baseball season tickets

. My parents bought them for me. We were Saints season ticket holders since day one. I was there when John Gilliam ran the kickoff back. I now own our original account There is a wall outside the Superdome with the names of the original season ticket holders who still have tickets. My name is on it.

I stopped getting football season tickets after 2018 season. I still go to the games and the rent a win games tickets are given away. All others I either pay less or premium if it’s a big game. Best decision I made

I’ve had Saints season tickets since 2017. LSU football tickets since 2018.

I’ve never once thought that LSU tickets were worth it, especially with young kids. You’re talking about 2-3 games max of premium value and everything else getting nowhere near face on resale value. Not worth it, and I’m done after this year.

Saints tickets are completely different. Even if it’s not a game we care about due to the opponent, the opposing fans want to come here. Always an increase on demand, and very seldom does a ticket unused go under face value. It is also the NFL, so every game is actually a game instead of LSU vs McNeese. The Loge Club also increases that demand and resale value, plus - playoff games get STUPID expensive on the resale market. I like them at FV.

TLDR; LSU season tickets for football are not worth it. Saints season tickets are. Cannot speak on other LSU sports.

I pay $200 for a pair of basketball season tickets. Definitely worth it. Dirt cheap.

Football isn’t worth it at all and I’m in the cheap end zone seats (which is the best view of a football game), but I just haven’t been able to give them up. This year I can’t even find a third person to go to the game with me and my wife.

I love the 6 people who down voted this. Guarantee they haven't spent the money on season tickets to know the aggrevation.

I have never seen a sporting event of any size that a ticket was not available at some price.

Have you?

As far as football goes all those TV timeouts have made going to the game something of a major time commitment. SEC network night games seem to last FOREVER.

I know of two games. USC v LSU in 1976. No tv, no tickets available at all.
A Ky v LSU game in the late 70s or early 80s. We went and could not score tickets outside the arena. None were being sold.

Maybe baseball? But there’s so many games. Probably a waste of money.

LSU football and basketball season tickets are a complete joke and a colossal waste.

I told LSU to refund my money this year. It wasn't worth going and I'm glad.

I don’t know if they are worth it but being able to buy face value tickets for the SECG/Peach Bowl/CFPCG was a big plus.

We moved out of state 6 years ago; didn’t renew football, but we kept baseball. We haven’t been to a regular season home game since we left, but have been to some post-season games. We kept our tickets because we love the people we sit with, and we planned to move back one day. “One day” is only a couple of weeks away now, and I can’t wait to hang out with my bleacher buddies at The Box.

I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'm going to renew my softball season tickets... hard to justify driving over from Houston when I don't enjoy watching the games anymore due to all of distractions near my seats.

Who the hell drives in from Houston to see softball?

For football, the answer is HELL NO!
The prices in that stadium have reached unrealistic levels.
It’s not worth the money or the time that has to be invested to attend a game.
Especially with that putrid product that’s being put on the field now.
