Awesome to hear, brother.
I’ll quit hijacking your thread- sorry about that.

Perfect example as to how the media and politics has tossed around the ole political football and hasn’t leveled with us. Remember when the vaccine was evil, then the election happened and it was dropped from the heavens and the answer for everything? That’s my point.
I’m at the VA. If it was as evil as the WHO said it was, it wouldn’t be used at the NOLA VA. I can’t speak for other VA hospitals but the one we have is really fricking good. I’ve had one shite doctor and the whole clinic rallied behind me when she gave me a hard time about switching. Since then, I’ve had nothing but good doctors that have offered everything I’ve ever needed to be in good shape, dealing with all of the shite I got exposed to in Iraq.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Please continue the dialogue. That was the purpose of my thread. It wasn’t about me, but about how cases are different and we need to talk this shite out so that everyone can make the best decision for themselves. Having you in this thread is exactly what I wanted. Please highjack away.

Glad to hear/read your upbeat attitude. Hope your oxygen levels quickly level back out and you are able to get back in the gym quickly.
You are quite the uniter, you ever thought of running for president? Lol.

Do you take Creatine or any other "body building" supplements? Just wondering as that is a known dehydrator as well. So, fluid intake that is normal, may be negated by the creatine... Not to pick a thread, but I believe pretty firmly that hydration and lack thereof is a major factor in this disease process b/c fluid intake helps with reducing inflammation. Obviously, being a gymrat, you put your body through inflammatory cycles on purpose (which might have given a fertile ground for the virus). Especially working out those days when you were "feeling okay." Interesting that you didn't hit the wall until a few days after the "worst workout ever" (as you may have been on the mend otherwise). So interesting to hear peoples' stories about this stuff.
Just curious, you know your own body, but did you test just 1x and get 66? Or multiple times? Those finger sensors are insanely sensitive.
Glad you're doing well.

Quick story. I actually was going to get involved on a local level in kennah brah. Then I met the players. They all wanted to know what I wanted. I wanted to fix the mall, fix commerce, become super business friendly. I did my research. I had the data, and since I was in intelligence forever, I knew where the skeletons were.
I’m not a rube. I know how the sausage is made. I don’t care that people take a taste. I wasn’t going to do that and I had no desire to do anything more than what I laid out and no desire to hold a higher office outside of council. Matter of fact, I made it be known that they could have all the credit. I just wanted to realize the Potential that was so obvious. I explained that there was 0 fat in my plan but they could do as they wish once I completed my goals and if I couldn’t, I would not seek re-election. I wanted shite fixed.
I got involved locally and started getting shite done at the local Catholic school, became the president, raised tons of money for the school. They freaked out and threatened me. I laughed it off, then they started turning up the heat and I just said frick y’all.
It took me a while to move, but I left Kennah land for English turn and have 0 desire to ever serve. Politicians are gross. They will crush anyone who doesn’t play the game for themselves. I’m a vet. We are drilled to serve the common good and we all benefit. Politicians don’t operate that way.
Find me someone who will do the right thing, and I have the federal, state, and local connections to get them elected if they are electable. The people who know me in that world, that I have respect for, know that I do it the right way and keep the shady shite away from me. I don’t need to frick over Americans for money. Enough people do that already, case in point, politicizing a virus unleashed by the Chinese.

Actually my gym got destroyed during ida. It was my first time back since the storm. They probably worked to my advantage and the doctor and I spoke about it.
You are right, since I do some intense arse workouts, my body is constantly inflamed, and we kept a very close eye on my inflammation. Right before i got this. My inflammation was normal for the first time in about a year. It was actually a saving grace.
Maybe my attempt to get back into the gym sent this into hyperdrive but I only worked out 2x before I stopped and got tested. That’s a good question that I will ask the doctor. Thank you.
As far as hydration, before ida I was drinking 3 gallons of water a day. Since my work outs stopped, I was drinking about 1-1.5 gallons a day. I don’t take any preworkout or creatine. I take TRT and a small dose, that’s it. I have taken a litany of legal supplements off and on, but I’m moderation and never creatine, precisely because I do such intense workouts and didn’t want to stress my kidneys further.

Bumping my previous question (a couple other posters asked it as well)... do you take any anabolic steroids or health supplements like creatine?
Edit: Nevermind. I see that you answered the question above. Rest up and take it easy!

I think the events happen in people who would have had severe, symptomatic COVID cases and/or thrombotic/embolic events from the virus or the vaccine, whichever was given first.
This, at a certain level, would be an argument against vaccinating - specifically for those in low risk groups to begin with.

Masks, unless they are N95 or better are nothing more than virtue signaling. Even while I am in the covid wing, I’m not wearing one and the docs are wearing n95 masks and an additional mask. That would work but most civilians are not doing that. One nurse wears a respirator. That would work but people aren’t doing that either.
I wore a mask where I was required but when it wasn’t, I didn’t. I didn’t have N95 masks, and a napkin and string isn’t gonna stop this shite. That’s actually science.

See the answer above. I take testosterone from the VA in small, therapeutic doses. The VA offered to give me a shot yesterday. I declined because I didn’t see the sense. I haven’t been taking my test since the storm because I haven’t been hitting the gym and didn’t wanna get fat.
I don’t take creatine because my work outs are intense and cause a great deal of inflammation and creatine adds to that. I have taken other legal supplements to protect my liver and stuff but none of the bullshite they sell and no preworkout. I live pretty clean.

I will say this, when this shite turned, water was making me nauseous. I found that orange juice worked so I drank that in small doses. It was killing me not to be able to chug water but even normal sips were creating dry heaving. I have no clue why this shite affected me like that and didn’t get a decent answer from the doctors either. I will hammer that for an answer so that if someone else experiences it, they can have an understanding as to why.

That was the first time I hit the 60s. I had hit the 70s a few times but wasn’t dizzy. When I was dizzy and gasping for air I knew it was time.

Drinking excessive amounts of water forces your body to lose nutrients and micronutrients at an elevated rate. Your kidneys do not work perfectly and only get rid of waste.
Forcing yourself to drink water is not healthy.
