Tate actually seems like a good guy

Just watched clips of him speak at the Mulkey presser. Lets see how he does and not judge so quick because after hearing him speak, I’ve gotra say, he left a good impression on me so far.
Also, anything is better than that plastic fraud that F King Alexander was.

You judge him by a few clips at a sporting event. I'll judge him by all the CRT - themed writings that he's published & attached to his CV. Which do you reflects the real person? And it's not 1-2-3-4-5 writings, it's multiple multiple writings, in his own words.

Yep…LSU is about to sign a new coach to a massive contract. Tate has been saying all the right things, as long as he doesn’t meddle too much I’m not going to complain.

I don’t think he’s a bad guy on a personal level. I rightly question his motives and vision for the university given what his core beliefs are about the world. I further question what his effect will be on athletics given that he seems to want to have his hands in the pot as much as possible.
Not trying to make this a political discussion, but I think Obama on a personal level seems like someone you could talk to and have a conversation with, but I am vehemently opposed to his views and don’t want his leadership.

I’ll give him a chance like I tend to do with most people in things.
But be careful on making that comparison as I remember people thinking F. King was cool too when early in his tenure people would talk about him being a big basketball fan and playing in pickup games at the rec and then showing up at a big basketball fan event before the season began Ben Simmons year here. He even did a 3 pt competition against a student and spoke at the event.
