Beat the Vols 20 years ago in the SEC championship and had a hell of a 20 year run but the program is smoking rubble right now

Transfer portal changes that.. you can go from shite to great in 1 year now
ETA: the “Golden era” to me would have been the run from 01-07. 2011 came after 3 somewhat disappointing Ho-hum seasons; 2018-19 came after several years of mediocrity.

It does feel like the Golden Age is over.
That doesn't mean the next age of LSU Football with the new coach can't be incredible.
