I like to stay as far away from anything like Cane's line. FFS it's fried chicken, french fries, toast with butter all over it. They average person will get a coke with all that. Even if it fits into a 2,000 calorie diet it has no nutrition. There are no off days with me.

I can’t remember it. He was saying why he thought Obama was so popular. He said something about, “Along comes this young black man who’s articulate, smart, and clean…”

Bacon prices have been volatile for several years now. There was a point around 2010 or 2011 where most packages at the store were around $10.

I mean, he's right? A communist state would take over all of those private businesses.

Oh, that's right, Biden is a CINO (commie in name only) because the GOP and their media apparatus can piss people off, scare them, all the while these same companies make money hand over fist as you keep going back to the trough for more scaremongering....the only thing that has gotten half of you boomers hard in 15 years.

When government teams up with tech, transportation, banking, telecom, shipping, etc, to force their will on the public in exchange for preferential treatment, it's just capitalism, bro.

False. If they take government money (ie a hospital taking Medicare/Medicaid patients) there is a mandate. Those companies with over 100 employees in the private sector are not required to have a vaccinated work force. If an employee is not vaccinated, they must take at least a weekly COVID test.

So, no, it's not get vaxed or get fined. Take the fricking weekly test or, in the case of hospitals, turn down federal dollars, if you don't want to force your employees to get vaccinated.

You're taking what he's saying in that quote at face value. If you listen to what he's saying in the context of the entirety of his comments, you will realize that he is blaming capitalism for the supply chain disruptions and rising inflation, as opposed to the federal government's business-crippling COVID policies and money printing, which are actually to blame for this mess.

Is this like the time you told us critical race theory wasn't being taught is school because CRT is a high level university class therefore it can't be taught to 7th graders?

He's using as a scapegoat for the admin's failures. He's lamenting the fact that he can't take over private business to get the job done. Although, state governments are increasingly turning over duties to the national guard to make up for their failed policies. NY is going to supplement nurses with NG personnel and MA is using NG to drive school busses.
