Some of you really just cannot grasp the amount of money involved with the LSU football brand and that is perfectly fine.

Woodward didn't hire Orgeron. Had he been the LSU AD in 2016 Ed would have never even been in consideration for the job. I'm sure Ed and Scott have a cordial professional relationship, but the AD is not going to let the most important and profitable piece of his department continue to diminish simply because he "likes the HC". The LSU football "business" is broken right now and the AD is going to have to try to fix it.
And sense we've entertained this silly discussion long enough, I can PROMISE you the relationship between the two isn't that strong. No hate or dislike. But not strong enough to overcome bad results on the field and bozo incidents off of it.
If you are worried O stays because of his relationship with the AD, then you can now rest easy. That's not a concern

Agree. However, in my opinion he should already be gone, but he isn't. The longer he sticks around the more damage will be done to the program unfortunately. I think Woodward knows this, but he has reasons for not doing so just yet, which no one here knows no matter how confidently the Rant thinks they are about what is going on behind closed doors.
