Another dumb fricking post. You really think Johnson is getting the proper qb coaching. Max has started what..8 games total and he is doing pretty good things without receiving any real coaching

At C or MLB? I’m ready for a change at either.

Well yeah that's why the OP is complaining about his late delivery.

That's their go to because they refuse to see that Max is a HUGE problem himself. Seriously if we had Brennan this OL talk crap would go away real quick because Brennan would have hit on those guys running wide open deep. The OL is bad, but hitting the players when they are open can hide a bad OL.

Max literally threw the ball to the Kentucky defender in the endzone where Nabors came leaping in from the side to catch it. There was no reason for him to make a bad throw like that because there was nobody in the vicinity of him when he threw it.

Oklahoma has had bad OL play (talk to some Oklahoma fans). Rattler has played like arse all year and the run game mediocre at best. True freshman QB Caleb Williams comes in and immediately runs for a 66 yard TD by making some moves on a 4th and 1. Oklahoma goes up and down the field and even the running back has a field day when he gets in.

Some times guys need to get benched.

Nuss looks to have a lot of upside but he's going to either turn the ball over so much that y'all start calling for his head or he'll be neutered so much that you don't get any overall advantage over max, who at least is familiar with the playbook.

We won't know until we try and it's better than Max Johnson looking discombobulated every single game. For the life of me I don't understand why he doesn't run for first downs. You'd think he has noodles for legs because he never runs.

Johnson has no O-line, no running game, no play calling, no coaching and only a couple of receivers trying to make plays.

Exactly!

Defense gave up 330 rushing yards, over 7 yds per carry. UK QB only threw 3 incompletions.

Nuss is going to fix that?

Stop making excuses for him Dad. Still doesnt address his inaccuracy, poor footwork, and his noodle arm. That isnt all on the o-line.

Peetz! He is the piss poor problem—not Max!

If you want to RUIN a promising QB, then bring in a fraud OC who is crap! This dude would F up Joe Burrow!

Your anology is a bit faulty..Brennen would fall down before he got to the line of scrimmage...he ain't the answer because he isn't athletic enough...and sure as hell not tough enough.

He had plenty of protection in the second half last night but he kept stepping into sacks like last play. Also, he's leaving his receivers out to dry and going to get them injured.

Completely agree Nuss gives the team a better chance to win now.
You’ll be screaming for Johnson once he’s the back up if we put in Nuss.

I read on the rant that Max had the it factor. When you have that you can make a bad O-line look ok, because with the it factor you make the people around you better. Max right now can't do that, I'm not saying Max is the whole problem, cause he is not,but his play is not helping. Right now this team is playing like garbage. Why? Well some of that is coaching, some is the players. We as fans need to quit comparing everything to 2019. We will never have that again, not saying we want be good again because we will. We can't recreate that because what made that is gone. Now we have to create the next great team. How do we do that, well maybe new coaching, maybe making players be responsible for there play on the field by benching and starting other players. It seamed to make Price run harder last after not starting. I think the coaches, players, and us fans all need a gut check.

Yep , not sure what they think concrete feet Brennan can do. He couldn’t even handle getting sacked so many times

Max's arm strength is limited, and he throws rainbow deep balls. His delivery is late, and footwork is awful. Nussmeir may not fair much better but he deserves his chance to try. I'd rather see the gunslinger mentality than more of the Johnson show.

Unfortunately it is obvious that Peetz is in way over his head. The OL while not great is not as bad as eveyone thinks. The calls and schemes are just shite bad which is a lot on coaching. They seem to have no prep for their opponent.

Peyton Manning: "The quickest way to screw up a young quarterback in my opinion is giving him no continuity, no stability. Keep changing systems and that's how you ruin a young qb. "

Describes LSU OC. Not to mention, he took a big job like this with NO PRIOR experience.
