“As the search continues for 31-year-old Matthew Mire, Troopers are continuing to work closely with our partners from the East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office, Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, and other local agencies. Mire is a person of high interest in multiple shooting incidents in several parishes, which claimed the life of one victim, critically injured three others, and nearly resulted in the shooting of a Louisiana State Trooper. Mire is considered armed and dangerous. Please contact 911 to report suspicious activity.”
