O and Brady really set him up to fail. Why Brady? He knew Peetz was a fraud. He wanted to get rid of him rather work with him. It was obvious. If there was any chance he could benefit Brady’s own career trajectory, he would’ve done anything to keep him.

He had no prior offensive play calling experience prior to coming to LSU who had a known coach on the hot seat who has thrown his coaches under the bus before..

CEO provided no organizational framework at all for plays to be efficiently relayed down to the sideline. Majority of that is on Peetz though and shows his immaturity regarding play calling duties.

Now O is calling in Emsminger to essentially hold Peetz’ hand for the rest of the season as the vultures are circling in on Ed Orgeron. What a difficult spot to be in. At the end of the day, it’s on Peetz. He’s getting paid a shite ton to be crappy at his job. No need to feel sorry for him but, he was set up to fail

Peetz should have seen the writing on the wall. O was on the hot seat and O has a history of throwing his coordinators under the bus

True, but you can't necessarily blame him for going for a more high-profile position.

This is complete lunacy

You realize the job he took at LSU was a huge promotion from what he was doing, right?

It’s amazing that people actually believe Brady and Aranda “recommended” these guys. O was desperate to get someone with any link to these two in order to sell to the mouth breathers he was getting back to what worked in 2019. If he was turned down enough he would have eventually settled for anyone that may have shared an elevator with Brady at some point over the last few years.

I’m not saying that Brady directly fricked Coach O intentionally, but after Ed pulled the “Ensminga’s offense” bullshite after Brady was very clearly the reason our offense was so good, Brady absolutely told him something along the lines of “sure bud, Peetz is great” to give him an opportunity with absolutely no regard for his ability to actually be a good OC at the SEC level.

Ed burned a bridge with his “this is Ensminga’s offense” shtick and I have NO CLUE why he would trust Brady to do anything in his best interest at that point. O is just a total fricking idiot

Is peetz a fraud or just not ready for prime time? It’s clear he is bad currently but he had no experience. It’s also likely that coordinators worth a damn didn’t want to come here because they knew the ship was sinking. Also, we should consider o is likely meddling in all of this.

There. I fixed it for you. O shouldn't have hired an unproven guy to call plays at the top level of college football when he has never done it before.

The head coach is ultimately responsible for the product on the field.

This is pretty much how we wound up with Jones (Aranda) and why he was like the 8th guy down the list.

Literally everyone else told Ed to frick off. Barry Odom refused to even interview.

No ill will to the guy but he looked seriously strung out when they showed him during the broadcast Saturday night. He may be in over his head, or it may be all the kids

Why, the guy is getting set for life money to be completely incompetent? To hell with feeling bad for him. I mean he has the situational awareness and reaction time of a sloth as an OC. Four games facing fronts that have teams begging him to run and he cannot figure it out.

He cannot figure out how to call a run play and when. Run Kiner when you see 3 down linemen and like 8 safeties and cornerbacks on the field playing zone pass coverage.

He did. That's why he got the deal he did with no OC experience.

It was a win win for Peetz. If he succeeds then he's on the fast track to being a HC. Even if he sinks with O, he'd get his money, and could easily get another HC job.
