Ed Orgeron. Just as he deserves the blame now, he deserves the credit for that. However, the more complicated answer is: Lot’s of people. We would not have won that championship if not for
Chase
Burrow
Brady
Ensminger
Aranda
Clyde
Lewis
Cushenberry
Charles
Lawrence
Chaisson
Queen
Stingley
Fulton
Or Delpit

Wtf are you talking about? We all know Burrow’s story, but the rest of those players were highly touted LSU recruits. CEH, iirc, may have been the only 3 star big time player on the team.

Even Burrow was highly thought of coming out of high school.

Idk what narrative you’re trying to spin around 2019, but why don’t you just come out and say what you want to say.

Joe Burrow had the best season I have ever seen any QB at any level have and almost always made the right decision in tough situations. It was unbelievable to watch.

Brady did a good job getting our WRs in space. CEH was a great back for our system. And Aranda had the defense playing well at the most crucial time of the season. The team played great together. And O wasn't stubborn enough to just talk and not try to hire someone who could help in the passing game, so I have to give him credit for taking a suggestion and going with it.

But in the end, Joe Burrow made everyone look good and everyone's job easier because he was a coach behind center and he knew what the hell was doing like no one else I have seen.

That list is extremely long, with Burrow being at the top of the list.

But there's a common thread that runs through Burrow to CEH, through the WRs, to the OL, then on to Aranda and the entire defense ending with Cade York.

Every one of those had an exceptional offseason and put in alot of work. Including the staff. If it wasn't for Ensminger attending workshops in the offseason Brady isn't noticed by anyone on our staff; Peyton sure as hell wasn't offering him.

Burrow hit the consultants/gurus and remade his mechanics and then returned to town to work with the WRs who, for the most part spent alot of rainy days in the indoor facility all by themselves.

For the OL and DL is was alot of time in the weight room. They came into 2019 scared to death they weren't going to be able to keep up with BDJ and prepared themselves.

Again, the credit goes to pride and preparation and good old effort, voluntary effort.

What i want to say is you are an idiot. People are talking about freaking curley hallman and the pro bowl will have potentially 4 to 5 players or alternates from that team on campus two years ago. Cant possibly be so bad there given the results.

You cannot explain it away, it was the most remarkable team we ever had. Until someone can really explain how all those great players could come from incompetent leaders, i dont respect your opinion.

So you think Orgeron is the right man for the job but you’re too timid to come out and say it?

There was only one really incompetent leader on that team, but his lone strength- the ability to motivate- paired exquisitely with the talent and staff on that team. It was the most quintessential lightning in a bottle season CFB has ever seen.

Ed achieved the best season in school history and produced some of the most elite players in the nfl right now. You want an assistant coach from the sunbelt to take it all over. Who is delusional again?

, a Sunbelt assistant?

I’m just shocked to find a true O defender. Even The Pirate King is ready to move on.

Burrow. If he was quarterback, LSU would be undefeated with a blowout victory over Auburn.

You’re now replying to yourself. You were the first to bring him up in the thread.

Get help.

Credit for 2019 goes to the entire coaching staff and team. O as the HC and Burrow get the lion’s share of the credit, but we all know others were key too.

Times change, people change and circumstances change. Nothing remains exactly the same. 2019 is long gone now.
