My doctor has the J&J vaccine in stock - should I do it? UPDATE page 4

I'm in the final stages of interviewing for a job that I really want and they're under the impression that I'm vaccinated. I could conceivably use a phony card to get onboarded, but then what of travel to Canada in a few months? I'd get fired if I wasn't vaxed and they needed me to go to Toronto or Vancouver suddenly.
I am completely not sure what I'm going to do, so I decided to call my doctor who I love (he's in his 70's he's MAGA but also very pro vaccine) to see if he would be willing to talk for 5 minutes just to reiterate that he hasn't been swayed off his pro-vax stance and see if he couldn't coax me into taking it.
Anyhow, the receptionist tells me that I need to come in anyway to get my scrips refilled and they can see me tomorrow. Also mentions that the have the J&J and the Moderna.
Just wanted to poll the board here with the peeps I love to see if I should do it? I have been calling around and been sure that the J&J was no longer available, so when she said that they have it (and it's in a hospital setting) I figured maybe this is a sign. No mRNA, no boosters, traditional vax - go on with my life and be able to travel freely and resume my career in the manner I would like to.

I got the J&J shot in April, it's the only "flu" like shot, and I've had not issues. Know several people who have had it, and no issues.

No. I have no problem with getting the shot if you assess it best for your health. But you are a pussy if you get it because Biden ordered you to

Yeah I feel like this is kind of "splitting the baby" so to speak. I'm in my early 40's so I'm not of the age that has tended to have issues with it (except for the LSU baw who is my age who died from it back in April or so).
I'm going to be so damn nervous but it will also be a huge weight off my back. I don't handle uncertainty very well.

I had the J and J end of March. Other than feeling slightly sleepy for a day, I had no side effects to speak of. Go for it!

No, arson is not the answer, they will just make more.

It would be for my career. I already passed on a dream job that was going to be so much fun - they pulled the position when they learned I had a doctor's note, etc. It was heartbreaking. This would get my career back on track, working in an industry that I love and interfacing in a mid-senior role with the leaders of the company on a daily basis. Travel, managerial responsibility, and pay increase.

It would be the only one I would take. Developed using the traditional way, but not clinically tested.
The other 2 use an unproven or tried method which I think is dangerous without rigorous clinical trials.

You sound like a weak raging fricking pussy. I got the Jj vaccine at nine when my local neighborhood pharmacy opened then drove in to work to live my life. Quit being a scared little pussy

If I eventually HAVE to get one, it will be J&J if the Novovax is not out.

Would he said he did but really didn’t??

No mRNA

My wife got J&J and the same thing happened except it was a few days. Her arm swole up where she got the shot. She does glow at night but it's easier to find the bathroom in the middle of night. So I am not complaining.
