2022 Expedition Timberline
quote:

On the outside, the Expedition Timberline stands out from the rest of the Expedition lineup thanks to Active Orange accents and a unique front grille, Timberline-exclusive wheels, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler A/T tires, a wider track, and 10.6 inches of ground clearance – which is the best in its class and 0.6 inches higher than the Jeep Wagoneer. The Expedition Timberline’s approach and departure angles have also been improved to further enhance off-road capability.

quote:

The Expedition Timberline is powered by Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6 H.O., which in this guise produces a robust 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, giving the SUV a better power-to-weight ratio than the Wagoneer. Backed up by Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission, the twin-turbo V6 sends that power to all four wheels via a two-speed transfer case, and all of these bits are protected by underbody shielding borrowed from the Ford F-150 Raptor.

The new screen is obviously nice but overall a very meh and boring vehicle.

Doesn't come close to the Yukon AT4 which IMO is the best full size SUV out there and soon to be available with the 6.2L V8.

They should try to get the Bronco straight first.

I don't get how there is a market for these $80K plus vehicles. They are all making them. I must be OT poor.

Ford doesn't seem to have too much creativity when it comes to the EXP. Even their explorers look like cop cars

They should just give up on the SUV market. GM is eating their lunch.

No one is going to buy this to actually overland or off road it. People that actually off road will buy the Bronco, Wrangler, or 4 runner imo. Too large for anything other than to take the kids to soccer practice or fill it with groceries.

That Yukon at4 looks like a damn pig. Yukon is puny compared to a Toyota Landcruiser.

We all know not a single one of these will ever get a spec of dirt on them.

I bet the dirt in the pictures is photoshopped in.

I love how the American companies keep virtue signaling how they’ll be all electric by 2030 but keep introducing new bawmobiles

As in…doesn’t hold an ounce off-road cred & durability compared to the Landcruiser. That at4 is hideous
