The buck stops with O when it comes to football! Not academics! Anyone who has attended college knows the student is responsible for scheduling their own classes. Yes, there are academic advisors but the student in the end makes the final decision.

Fans need to quit making excuses for these players! Believe it or not, this may be what saves Emery's life. These players need to learn that they are responsible for their own actions and the consequences that follow. Incidents like this hopefully will make them realize that the days of people wiping their arse and tucking in bed at night are over.

Emery isn't the first and won't be the last student to screw up in college and have to face some tough consequences!

Coaches get praise and a lot of money for both athletic and academic accomplishments of their players.

If Emery is not able to play because of academics, that falls under O's leadership. He deserves the criticism, IMO!

Just because Emery is a football player doesn't mean the athletics department has to wipe his arse, tuck him in at night and make sure he takes the right classes. Quit pampering these guys and let them grow up like a normal college student!

they have people on staff that we as fans pay for, that its their job to do exactly that. THATS THEIR frickING JOB!!!

and guess who their boss is and whom is ultimately accountable.....you guessed it, MR COCKSUCKER HIMSELF, ED O!!

Does anyone even know what's going on? I mean, beyond assumptions and guesses?

Opt outs
Poor Culture
Players getting kicked off the team
Players transferring
Players ineligible
Lack of player motivation
Lack of player preparation
Poor coaching hires
Head coaches off the field antics
Poor talent evaluation
Poor player development
Poor on the field coaching and adjustments
Title 9

Always somebody else’s fault.

Jeremy Hill spoke about this on the radio earlier. This kind of stuff was micromanaged when he was here. There were people who held the players accountable. No longer…

What we’re seeing is a lack of focus and attention to detail. If you as a head coach/ceo do not hold people accountable, they in turn will not hold those they manage/coach accountable. On down the line.

How the f do you know? I doubt you know one freaking thing about the situation. These kids are here to play football and rely on advisors to direct them. Your stupid fricking arse never contributed one damn thing to your college except tuition. These kids generate millions, practice year round for hours, 6-7 days a week, plus have to go to school. What did you do when you weren't in school besides jerk-off every waking minute? Do us all a favor and f-off.

Good to see some sense of realism on this crazy board now. You are absolutely correct. These kids are getting a free ride at the LSU spa and they should show a little responsibility.

You are so incredibly stupid it's mind numbing. So are you saying it's not a college football head coach's job to make sure his players are eligible? Please tell me you aren't that stupid.

In 2019 alone the football team generated nearly $100 million dollars for the university alone. Then add in the indirect revenue to Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. You really have to be retarded to think they are getting a "free ride". Wow

Yes I said free ride. What do they pay in tuition, dorm and meal plan? Yes they generate lots of money but again their cost to attend LSU is ZERO

OK. You're a simpleton and only sees whats in front of you. Complete lack of insight and there's no sense arguing with you.

Because you are not a 5 star running back that will be a high NFL draft pick. To put it bluntly, Emery is more important than you to the LSU Football program and the LSU brand. Because of his high profile status, we should make sure his shite gets taken care of properly.
