Tight end C.J. Uzomah talks about how Joe Burrow switched to a pass play on 4th and 1 after seeing the defense load the box. Described Joe as "ballzy" for attempting a 30-yard pass play on 4th and 1, adding "that's some big kahunas there". He also noted the team was ignited by the defense and by Joe Burrow "the franchise (Joe Burrow) threw a dime to Chase" and "was throwing dimes today" vs the Vikings.

and people wonder why our offense isn't as good anymore...all they had to do was watch 1 game yesterday

He played great yesterday. Hunter sacked him and he limped off and the coaches seemed to get real conservative.

Burrow does not get enough credit for the "dimes", this guy makes many a WR look great with his ball placement. He just needs time to do it.

If it's true he audibled in that situation, that is awesome. You can't really teach that. You either have it or you don't.

Cincinnati's head coach has literally given the offense to his superstar QB Joe Burrow to call, he asks Joe what plays he wants to be called before the game and gives Joe the option of calling a run or a pass on almost every play.

The list of people Joe Burrow made money for is astounding. It all comes back to Joe!

Yahoo Sports

Joe Burrow's return from last season's hideous ACL injury couldn't have gone better. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback led his team to a dramatic overtime victory against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1, and on Monday he revealed that he's the one who called the key play in OT that helped set up the Bengals' winning field goal.

While discussing Sunday's game on the Dan Patrick Show, Burrow detailed the game-changing pass he threw to C.J. Uzomah on 4th and 1 with just 32 seconds left in overtime. It turns out that the original play was a run, but after seeing how the Vikings were lining up, he decided right then to change it to a pass play.

Except Burrow was average before Brady. Love the guy but let’s be honest

False. Even in a 1970s offense in which he never played prior to 2018 and even though he came to school missing spring practice, he was good and by the end of the year you could see what he really was. Brady bringing a semblance of modernity to the offense just allowed Burrow to showcase his talent more for people who only pay attention to stats or who don’t have the time to watch LSU football games.

The confidence is off the charts. He’s like a Les db but at quarterback.

Joe will tell you he will own you then own you.
