Nick Saban made CUM quit when he was at Florida. No chance in hell CUM wants anything to do with Saban especially in the same division....

That preseason story reminds me of Steve Spurrier going extra hard and celebrating wins in his first preseason with Washington. People don't realize this but Spurrier's offense actually looked unstoppable during his first preseason in Washington. They were lighting everybody up. That quickly came to a halt during the regular season.

I don’t understand how you’d take that job over the Jaguars

Spurrier came into the NFL about 15 years too early. I think he could scheme up a very effective NFL offense now.

What’s the story of this video?
The same family that owns the Jags also own a wrestling company called AEW. They did this segment where these guys were wrestling all around the facility and fought through the office of an unsuspecting Meyer.
Feel free to use every time the Jags get blasted this season.

Maybe for a game
Then it would be figured out, and he’s too lazy to adapt or put in the time

Perhaps. But Spurrier's NFL issues weren't all scheme related. He didn't care much for the change in dynamic with having to deal with GMs and owners and how teams were built.
Being under Snyder may have also soured him on the system quicker than if he had been anywhere else but Washington as well.

Spurrier would do even worse in today's NFL with coaches working 18 hour days. Dude actually thought he'd have more time to play golf because he'd no longer have to recruit.

Spurrier's offense relied on finding the best matchups on offense and calling the same plays over and over. It worked well in CFB, especially at Florida, but it's hard to find success doing that when you only get to pick maybe 10 guys a year for your team (with maybe 3 of them actually being good enough to play)

This shows the exact reason that coaching in the pros is WAY different than coaching in college.

I remember Spurrier making fun of Jim Haslett of the Saints when he came into the league cause of something Haslett said about how many hours he spent working.
Of course he went 0-2 against Haslett.

It fricked him, and us later in his time at South Carolina

but how at South Carolina?
didn't he string off 9 or more wins his last few years there?
also won his last few bowl games.
His ego killed him in the NfL but I thought he's done more at South Carolina than any other coach has since.. ?

Spurrier had a notoriously lazy work ethic.

His last two seasons were 7-6 (and that last bowl game could have easily made it 6-7) and 3-9.
He stopped recruiting, didn’t hire well and thought he’d be able to keep coaching the way he had did in the past.
There were a number of top prospects we missed out on because they said he had checked out.
As college football and the conference was moving into the era of what it is today, he just didn’t care and wouldn’t adapt

Show me this. I don't think I've seen more than 20% of posters say he would make it in the NFL. CFB has passed him by too IMO so if you think he's going to resurrect USC I think you would be sadly mistaken
