Would be pretty odd considering they are the ones that wanted to hire him. Its not like he assembled a team to try to sell himself.
He would be able to get paid as much if not more in the college ranks if he wanted too.
Them saying no probably would not even faze him

Urban's been openly campaigning for NFL head coaching jobs since he left Ohio State. Becoming a NFL HC is clearly an itch he wants to scratch.
