Did Lafayette lose a lot of power from Ida?

Just curious how the Lafayette area did in all this? Did they lose a lot of power? Any flooding?

Lafayette didn't get shite from Ida

Lafayette had more power outages from that thunderstorm a few days after Ida than Ida itself (which was none).

Ah come on man. Lafayette can be fine if you’re in the right area.

Not anything great, but certainly fine.

Not taking anything away from people who had it rough, and are still without power, but it was a nice late summer day. Sat out pretty much all day on my outdoor patio/kitchen area, watched a movie and had a few drinks

Got a lot of rain a day or 2 after from outer bands but not much during the storm
