Where's the side-by-side statistical comparison of places that don't have a similar mask mandate? Surely those places must be looking much much worse.

I think JBE puts back in the mask mandate right when the expected curve peaks so he can say boom they work when the curve goes down like it would have regardless

He absolutely did. The RT was well below 1 when he implemented it. I specifically remember posters on here calling that out and saying JBE would have a similar tweet/quote giving the mask mandate the credit.

This is exactly what he does. He watches the rt value. Once it gets close to 1.0 he puts out a mandate. Pure political theater.

An extreme few places are actually paying attention and enforcing it. Sure they put up the signs on their doors like they are supposed to, but other than that they don't give a shite.

That’s because the mask mandate was implemented at literally the peak of this and after Ro was already going down. They did that so they can claim credit for what was going to happen naturally.

Yeah... I haven't noticed anyone wearing a mask. Hell, most stores I go in, the workers aren't even wearing a mask. No one gives a shite anymore.

Lots of Louisiana people in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores with very few wearing masks. Maybe that’s the reason for the reduction in instate cases of Covid-19 and the rise in cases in Baldwin County.
