Orgeron does not know what he is doing. Look at the pattern of behavior. It is clear as can be. I am grateful for 2019, but is not the program looking to be more than just a one-off phenomenon? He is immature, lacks vision and is not an X's and O's guy...at all.

What the impression your friend has of coach O? Does he love him or or is there already drama inside locker room between players and coach o specifically?

The ol' boy who said he was just "reporting" something needs to understand what reporting is.
Reporting isn't repeating what someone told you.
It's confirming that information with reputable sources, at least two others, generally.
So, no. No reporting done. Rumor-mongering at best.
And makes no difference to me. I don't care who does what at LSU.

That was how reporting was done. Current “journalists” ain’t got time for that pesky confirmation step.

Tackling was abysmal. Cause for several scores. Watched highlights and saw some LBs run around blocks to gaps already occupied. Max made 5,6,7 poor throws that would have continued drives and threw a missile in the dirt to Boutte on a slant that would have been a 50 yd TD (they had moved the safety completely out of the picture so he could not have caught a wide open Boutte. TDP missed at least 2 holes and ran right into tacklers where maybe Kiner or Emery would have cut into hole for good gains.
Scheme may have been crap but we don't know that until you watch their film and know the plan going in. Most of Ranters oversimplify this game. Yes its tackling, blocking, throwing, running & catching. But defenses are sophisticated and offenses are designed to take advantage of the one area you can't cover on every play.
But player execution was terrible. If we don't improve blocking and tackling in next few weeks, Im totally ok with firing Ed. But improvement is always greatest bewteen game 1 and 2 so lets see how we correct mistakes. Oh yea. Peetz was calling his 1st big time game and he probably sheet the bed on at least a few plays. Didnt have an old hand like Steve E in the box to help make crucial decisions.
THis all falls on Ed O. If he can't get it fixed asap, fire his arse.
