NYT Article
Is this what North Korea feels like?
Two top FDA officials stepped down earlier and now this crap.
Close the damn border and stop letting covid positive migrants in first if you want to actually worry about covid

Unvaccinated people should avoid traveling during the Labor Day holiday, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said. As Covid hospitalizations reached a daily average of 100,000 for the first time since last winter’s surge, Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky, the director of the C.D.C., identified vaccination and masking as key factors in preventing the spread of the virus. “First and foremost, if you are unvaccinated, we would recommend not traveling,” she said on Tuesday. Labor Day, which celebrates American workers with a three-day weekend and is the unofficial end of summer, is often observed with barbecues and gatherings for family and friends.

"Should" and "recommended" do not mean "will" and "required".

I’ll travel if I damn well want to travel.

The purpose of announcements like this isn’t to actually influence anyone’s travel plans. It’s to create a divide in society and to gaslight the portion of the society that has common sense.

Are they physically stopping you from traveling and/or punishing you accordingly?

Should people wait for tyranny to be entrenched before protesting?
Poor word choice, accordingly has two meanings
1.
in a way that is appropriate to the particular circumstances.
2.
consequently; therefore.
