In addition to the obvious, ALL EQUIPMENT should be demanded to be immediately returned to the United States, and that includes every penny of the $85 billion dollars in cost. If it is not handed back, we should either go in with unequivocal Military force and get it, or at least bomb the hell out of it. Nobody ever thought such stupidity, as this feeble-brained withdrawal, was possible!

It is one of the most profound strategic geo-political defeats of a major Western power in all of human history, that is true. This defeat is even worse than Vietnam.

The sentiment is true - but he just hands them instant rebuttal when he overgeneralizes.
Should couch it correctly - nothing in modern AMERICAN history has been so bungled from beginning to end.
There have been myriads of inglorious endings of wars and absolutely degrading circumstances.

Never should have bugged out completely, especially from Bagram. It was the counter terrorism and intel center.
