It's unfair to blame the UK when obviously it was Trumps fault /sarcasm

Wow. you have some raw nerve with this propaganda. In this case Milley & Austin were in dereliction, as they all sit at the State Department, Pentagon & Biden admin and point the finger at each other...
The Brits wanted the Abbey gate left open so they could move evacuees from the hotel. Agree?

Sharing the intel with the Brits that there was an imminent terror attack (SEE my new thread) So temporarily suspending transfer was wise-should have happened, agree?
It is like someone seeing a lion coming from a better vantage point and not telling people in the lions way, agree?
Even if there was a general alert for a terrorist attack-this is common there. The U.S. knew it seems precisely what was going to happen.

Classic projection.
If liberals are accusing someone of doing something, it's 100% guaranteed that the same liberals themselves are guilty of the accusations they're throwing.

From the OP article:
Leaked transcripts handed to Politico suggest Pentagon officials had predicted a 'mass casualty' attack at Kabul airport and warned that the Abbey Gate was the 'highest risk' in a meeting just 24 hours before 170 people and 13 US Marines were killed.
In a second conference call at 12pm last Thursday, American commanders set out plans to close the gate by that afternoon. However, the decision was taken to allow Britain, based at the nearby Baron Hotel, to continue evacuating people through it.
Six hours later, an ISIS-K terrorist armed with a suicide vest killed himself and almost 200 others.
Sounds like the Brits had the information, but wanted Abbey Gate left open. That was a mistake we warned them about.

What does that have to do with Biden leaving our troops there to be blown up?

The source is sensationalist, of course, but it was the UK who wanted Abbey gate to remain an entry point into the airport because the Brits were stationed in the Baron Hotel nearby.
It was the United States who put the British in this position by making Kabul the center of the evacuation instead of Bagram Air Base. I love my country but we really screwed the pooch by abandoning Bagram prior to the evacuation. That should have been where we were exfiling from. Not an international airport in the middle of a freaking city.

Welp...if that's SOP, Biden and Co. sure fricked that up.

And so American commanders, armed with this information and convinced of an imminent mass casualty event, decided to allow U.S. military personnel to continue assisting with Abbey Gate rather than turning it over to the British? That's incompetence that borders on the criminal.

You are a retard.
So it was Biden’s decision to kill marines?
At least thanks for confirming that. Cannot have it both ways

The road from Kabul to Bagram would have been a shooting gallery.
The evacuations will continue long past leaving HKIA. But that is something no one should be speaking of. We have people in harm's way at the moment.

Look again at the Daily Mail picture that has all the marines fully exposed high and tight looking at applications. The battalion commanders should have rushed a couple of Chic-fil-la night shift managers to organize their work.

I don't speak Bobby Boucher. Explain it to me in conventional US English. Thanks.

Not if we had maintained a large military presence until AFTER the civilians had been evacuated. You know...like common sense would have dictated? That way you don't have to do it all at once in a two week operation. You could stretch the evacuation out over time and make it easier to protect civilian convoys. You also threaten to call the whole thing off if the Taliban or ISIS-K decided to interfere with violent action. Which Trump would have done.
