A buddy of mine had his business and car set on fire in LA last night. They know who did it - have it on video. The DA refuses to do anything because the criminal is a minority and homeless. The guy is free to roam the streets and do more damage and law abiding citizens are left with zero recourse.

It sad the old days in LA we would have had that person in hours or less.
It is sad to see what L.A. has turned into.

George Soros DA have orders to follow, and worse they actually believe not prosecuting criminals is ok.
How can A DA not charge criminals? Release felons (murderers, rapists, etc) out of jail?

I've seen it too, dude. California is broken beyond words and in terminal decline. It is worse than a 3rd world country and rapidly getting worse. There is no way to explain it to people outside the state, and many inside CA are in denial. I was born in LA and watched the place for several decades. and my grandparents spent their life there and watched it decades before me and told me about it. The golden paradise is dead. The liberal disease will spread throughout the country and destroy us until a stand is made.

Need to go down to the homeless camp, and hire some vigilante justice. They won't do anything if they harm eachother.

An excellent MSM report (which means you can't trust it) did on the situation in California recently, had me chuckling.
As many know, there is a concern with the recall efforts against Newsom. The piece had several liberal, white, young women interviewed along with a Democratic strategist. The strategist was nervous and the theme of the piece was ......better hope these faithful liberals DON'T vote.
Each had experienced situations similar to what the OP writes about.
Californians... they made their bed.

I don’t think cases of arson, weather they will be prosecuted, etc is generally settled in under 12 hours…maybe you jumping the gun on the outcome here.
