We have a few dry rooms. We should be ok, I believe.

Storm surge? Well, not really certain how that's going. My place is 5 blocks north of the Lakefront on Wilkinson.

Hers is further away from the Lakefront than mine, but there's no water on the road here, as far as I can tell.

Glad there are dry rooms. Nothing y’all can do tonight. Stay safe and bunker down.

Guate Island checking in. Road is flooded. Don’t have much signal, anyone tell me what to expect rest of the night?

Guste? I assume spellcheck got you like it just got me 4 times.

Well, if you're asking about weather conditions, it appears to still be windy and rainy af until about 3:30/4.

Then light rain for another 2 or 3 hours.

Lol yeah Gusrte….

Thanks, 2 trees down in my backyard, apparently a small piece of the roof on a ridge came off. Road is currently flooded about 2ft. If it’s rising it’s rising slow. Not too worried about my house flooding but who knows with this storm.

So far have made it out fairly well I’m sure as opposed to other areas. I guess rain and surge are the issues now, seems like the wine has died down a good bit.

Where is the storm exactly and strength? Is the west wall deteriorating?

Anybody know of a Northshore message board or FB group? Or even a twitter account covering this stuff?

We are staying at a family members house in Tchefuncta with a generator. Tried to go check on another house late last night to see if it was taking in water but all three routes had trees across the road. It’s going to look like a bomb went off out there when the sun comes up. It’s going to take a substantial amount of time before they can even get the roads cleared enough to get out the neighborhood

Hammond is a mess right now, trees down everywhere and water over the roadways.

We are on Wilkinson too. I am working the storm so waiting for sun daylight for wife to assess. She said it was pretty sporty last night. Any update on that area of mandeville appreciated….

Lake Ramsey checking in. Several big trees down in my back yard, but that looks like the worst of it. I drove around the neighborhood a little while ago. We cleared a couple of trees that fell across the road, but that looked like the extent of it.
Little chainsaw work ahead.
Hope everyone made it out ok.

THE HUNT, FlyinTiger, and TitleistProV1x what cell service provider do you have?

I can’t reach some family/neighbors that stayed just trying to figure out common denominators.

If you are trying to text on an iPhone make sure you are “sending as text message” and not an iMessage. Got family around Mandeville with Verizon and that’s the only way I’ve been able to get through to them
