Out of state person here (Houston, Gig Em!)… Just booked an Airbnb for a deal ($70 a night for 3bd 2ba) in grand isle for a long weekend into Monday. Taking the boat down with me. Hopefully the fishing is good. Any local recommendations for restaurants down there?

Edit: Good lawrd, Sarcasm…there’s some short a chromosome lacking sons of b!tches on here.

Was watching that. I legitimately thought she was about to issue one. Had me nervous for a second.

The way I view it is what would suck worse, staying in a hotel for a couple nights and coming back to everything being okay or staying and shite hitting the fan.

Give me the Marriott 10/10 times

So apparently my GF just saw a massive convoy of Orleans Parish Prison buses filled with inmates flanked by a bunch of cop cars heading westbound on I-10 on the spillway.

Anybody have any idea what that means as it relates to the Hurricane . Is NOLA about to get swamped or is that just a coincidence?

Same in Metairie. I have family in Houston so it would be easy to just avoid all of this. Have three kids 6-4 and 4 months, in laws have a home generator a street over so we can survive the no power just not sure how long we will be without it and how nuts the kids will drive me.

Seems weird to do for a voluntary evacuation? Does this mean I should get out?

Not Venice, but I just got back from Grand Isle. 2 1/2 hour drive took me 5. Traffic and weather were shite.

He said it sucked. The Bonnet Carre was crawling apparently. He sounded exhausted.
