Tests results today revealed that Jaguars’ rookie RB Travis Etienne suffered a mid-foot sprain that is Lisfranc that now is likely to end his season, per source.

Legit sucks when this happens to RBs because they are already on borrowed time.

I really liked him. Sunshine got all the credit, but he was the real X factor for Clemson.

Needs to treat running lanes like a fire drill and not like a Christmas party RSVP.

I like Etienne, but felt Jags would've been better getting a WR. They already had a talented player in James Robinson and didn't need to get a RB that high in the draft.

That sucks but the Jaguars shouldn’t have picked him in the first anyways because they have a top 10ish back already on the roster.

Les “creepy and shitty coach” Miles may have been right about him having an “awkward gait”.

Because of usage. So his legs will have less mileage.

I kind of feel bad for him. Decided to come back for his final season after getting smoked by LSU when he would have still been a high draft pick in 2020 only to get bounced in the semis and drafted by Jacksonville this year.

Don't feel bad for the Jags staff though... They saw Burrow get Chase and Tua get Waddle in this draft and tried to be cool by getting Etienne for Lawrence. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Lisfranc (midfoot) injuries result if bones in the midfoot are broken or ligaments that support the midfoot are torn. The severity of the injury can vary from simple to complex, involving many joints and bones in the midfoot.

Yes I’m sure that’s exactly what the front office was thinking when they made this pick. “Oh look, other teams have been drafting a wide receiver that their young QB played with in college so let’s forget the draft board and pick the running back our QB has played with”.

This board…

Why a high draft pick RB would do that is perplexing.

He moved up a round in the draft by staying at Clemson another season.
