Coach O is a strong supporter of being vaccinated, hence why the team has a near 100% vaccination rate.
Thank god for baws like coach O setting a pro vaxx example for our knuckledragging fanbase to follow

A PCR test really doesn’t prove if you do or don’t have it. So inaccurate. The CDC has even said it can’t detect between flu or covid. So dumb.
What? That's not how PCR works. You create primers specific to a gene sequence unique to what you are looking for in your sample. Influenza and Corona viruses are very different, so primer design isn't an issue.
If the gene sequence is present, the primers bind to it and then amplify the sequence across multiple reaction cycles.
They would only have trouble distinguishing COVID from Flu in a PCR sample if they are running a multiplex PCR for BOTH COVID and flu and the molecular weight of the gene sequence is similar enough that it would be difficult to read the final result.

The actual outcomes carry more weight than your little anti vaxx voice .. sorry
Facts or facts, no matter how much you spin doctor them, vaxxers spread the virus...sorry...

Kiss of death unless everyone else in SEC follows suit. After last years debocle, are they trying to repeat empty stadiums?

Just like the saints vaccine or test mandates…I have a question that I’d like admin to answer…why are vaccinated not required to test? As we know they can still get an spread covid so why don’t they have to test? If this truly is about safety
It’s actually a rhetorical question. I know the real answer.

It’s another strong arm tactic to push the jab.
That’s exactly what it is. Edwards has been threatening for a while. The Pfizer vaccine getting FDA approval gave him the leverage he needed. I knew it was coming once Tate announced the vaccine mandate for students and LSU personnel. He knows that the love of LSU sports will be enough to coerce many unvaccinated people to submit to the jab.
What’s the word on how other SEC schools are handling this issue? Are Bama, Auburn, UGA, FL, etc. requiring it?

You are pro forcing people to be injected with something against their wishes, because politicians are making it a condition for life to go on as normal. This is all happening in response to a virus with 99%+ survival rate.
Congratulations

That’s the point. No one’s being penalized. You have choices. You can not get the shot and still attend the games.
You do recognize the absurdity of it all, though. Right?

The folks that are upset when the free market does free market stuff are the same crowd who whines that they need big daddy federal gubment to approve a vaccine before they can get it

That's absolutely a lie...most everyone I'm around is both educated and successful...and it's generally 50/50. This is complete bs. But I can tell you this for fact, I'd much rather hang out with a hardworking hillbilly than some far left radical nut job who hates america.

Lmfao so it's very obvious Lsu wants covid to not ever make it to the stadium. But I'm stumped...
1. The vaccine does not stop you from getting the virus (same as non vaccinated)
2. The vaccine does not stop you from spreading the virus to anyone ( same as non vaccinated)
3. The vaccine will currently protect you from severe symptoms but you will need more shots
With this information and if keeping covid out of stadium is the goal... then I'm guessing they should ensure that EVERYONE gets a negative test before entering stadium... I'm mean what am I missing?
Is it's just to make sure that when the unvaccinated go into stadium and get covid from a vaccinated person in the stadium that lsu wanta to be held liable???
How about test everyone if your trying to keep covid out? Or test no one since there is a vaccine available and everyone has a choice...
Only person taking any risk are unvaccinated?? Vaccinated are um... Vaccinated and have nothing to worry about

Huh. That’s a lot of assumptions about a lot of people you don’t actually know. Ik people on both sides. I see both sides logic. I don’t judge them based on their pets choice.

I've had 4 season tickets for years, and I'm out for this season.
Been on hold for 45 minutes with ticket office today to discuss my options.
Fun day for them I'm sure.

Lol. I love how the rejects of society get so much pleasure out of the government’s obsession with boosting Pfizer and J&J’s profits.

I'm not sure how that results in 75% attendance, though
I think I’m being generous between 50-70% of the possible attendees are vaccinated and i think it’s very unlikely that a substantial portion of the unvaccinated will go through the trouble of paying for a pcr test AND get it back within the appropriate amount of time.

Those who have not yet received a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine must present digital or hard copy proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of kickoff prior to entering the stadium. Guests younger than 12 will not need to present a negative test; masks will be encouraged for children younger than 5 and required for children ages 5 to 11 years old.
So I don't have to wear a mask? I figured this was a given.
