I've grown to like Darby but he's just so comically small. WWE is so boring but at least they have grown arse men who look like stars.

He's claimed to pay addicts to do weird shite. Like shove their faces into clogged toilets.

More importantly, the Allin part of his ring name comes from GG Allin, who he is a huge fan of. GG Allin was incredibly fricked in the head, and was a huge piece of shite. Anyone who is a fan of that kind of guy is undoubtedly one too.

can't we just let young dudes be young???? The next generation of legends have to come from somewhere.

Punk's twitter handle says "player-coach", which makes sense because he's 42 now. He's not making his name, he is the name, and he'll win enough to stay strong while also putting over young guys eventually with great matches. He's a smart guy and will have years left at the top of the card.

Billy Gunn is bigger than basically the entire AEW roster, and he was considered small back in the day when he was a WWE full timer.

Its why I don't believe AEW will bring in Braun Strowman, he is so much bigger than everyone on their roster, that its not believable he isn't the champ. Technically Wardlow holds that monster type spot on the roster right now, but Strowman is significantly bigger than he is.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who is kind of annoyed at the AEW product. Spotfest are fun occasionally but it’s annoyingly every match. I much prefer storytelling the way Orton does. Jericho obviously does it in his matches which is why I like him. Not every single member of the roster needs to dive over the top rope to put on a good show. Nor does every single person need to be in a posse. I can’t keep up with what group is what in AEW…but then turn to WWE and to many weak matches that are boring between the great ones, and no factions at all to route for or against

Despite the fanboying it’s not in the ballpark with them. AEW has all of the 99-01 WCW problems without the success of 95-98 WCW. At least WCW’s billionaire owner was the actual billionaire. This time it’s the son of the billionaire running the show.

People who keep saying this are jumping right to the downfall of WCW, and completely ignoring the fact that WCW was really freaking good for a while, and to this day was the only promotion to not just challenge WWE, but actually overtake them. It’s not a bad roadmap to follow, especially with the benefit of seeing how it turned out for them and what could have been done to avoid it.

But they aren’t pulling WWE’s top talent away like WCW did to WWF. They are doing everything that lead to WCW’s downfall. That and they are catering to a niche of wrestling fans and they are sprinkling just enough SJW nonsense in there to get praise from parties who have no vested interest in their success while further limiting their ceiling.

Not even close. WWE still made over $130 million in profit last year. AEW is too scared to even release numbers.

I mean it’s hard to actually be this stupid but you have done it

There isn’t a company on the planet that would release their profit numbers if they didn’t have to and AEW, not being a publicly traded company, doesn’t have to

WWE of course is publicly traded and therefore is required to release a their financials 4 times a year at minimum

Most of these guys are indie wrestlers then unfairly labeled WWE guys by the E marks, like yourself.

But, FTR is the best tag team in the world. Asked to get released.

Jericho is the GOAT, didn’t want it.

Windham Rountanda, currently unsigned, has more talent in his pinky than the guy they label as the big dog.

Jon Moxley, the top guy in the world in the last year. Didn’t want that shite show.

Adam Cole, unsigned, isn’t even sure he will be out in a position to succeed.

WWE has neutered Ferge, AJ Styles(especially after Takers last match),Kevin Owens, Sami, Ricochet among others.

But hey Tribal Chief and Drip-master are “such good shite”

Oh and CM Punks return trumped SummerSlam and NXT Takeover.

Ambrose was a midcarder that they let leave and CM Punk hasn’t wrestled in 7 years and has not been noteworthy in over 8 but okay

Lol what’s sad is you believe this.

Not even close. Btw that’s the same Jericho who can’t keep WWE out of his mouth, much less his mind. How you going to trash WWE for letting Brock win MiTB while being a part timer and yet your old arse is in the middle of a long arse title reign? Yeah okay.

Good luck getting consistent matches out of him. If he couldn’t get in shape in the last 2 years with by far the biggest wrestling company in the world’s resources, then he won’t do it at Indies R Us.

They’ve also squashed TWO first time world champs to give the belt back to previous champs in the last two years.

Could you imagine Jericho squashing Darby Allin, MJF, Ricky Starks, Jungle Boy, Wardlow, Sammy, in their first reign?

And the talk about ratings, SmackDown is on a major network, and Raw is a 30 year old show…and it’s no secret AEW wins the key demo.

Remember the Wednesday Night Wars? Which was meant to be an insult to AEW, and it backfired to the point that NXT is about to tear down their entire product?

And as far as digital, Punks entrance is at 6 million views, Brocks staredown with “top guy” is 4 million.

Reigns said last Friday that Punk isn’t a draw that people made him out to be, then outdrew him. Work shoots don’t always work.

All these guys once they get established get lazy. They don't want to do the road grind. They all want to write their own scripts. They want to work only main events and barely participate in the weeklys.

That's why I laugh at these goofballs that talk "work rate". They all want to stay home and work a select handful of dates. They don't want to put on a house show in Fairfax or Corpus Christi.

Go out there and do your job. If you can't do that, you don't stay in WWE. The Independent circuit is like those guys who can never show up on time for work and always call in. They'll claim they have "more freedom", but truth is they just aren't good workers/employees. They work on their terms and always have an excuse why WWE ain't it. They drank the Koolaid and think its delicious.

That's contradictory. WWE rewards those part timers with huge paydays and main event spots at the expense of the ones who put in the work and do the house show circuit. Why do you think they get frustrated and want to leave? That's the whole point.

that business model is outdated. When you fly into NOLA for Raw, you don’t need to have separate house shows in Lafayette and BR and Biloxi and Jackson
