Was listening to a podcast recently. I believe it was Jordy. But they were basically saying how LF7 kinda bends the knee in a room to the freak athlete that Devin White is. They said DW is essentially fournette 2.0 bigger, stronger, faster, better.

Not many guys are 6’2” 240 run a 4.4-4.5 etc….
But these are 2 of those people.

Devin started as a RB and ended up the greatest LB in LSU history. He is an all pro and looking like the best Lb in the league right now.

As of now it seems like Devin White will have the better career. But what if LF would have made that shift to LB. seems like there is more of a premium on the LB position than the RB position in the league. LBs I feel last longer than most RBs.

Still probably would've went top 10 in the draft. He and Devin White are basically clones.

IMO Devin could end up being the greatest LB in NFL history. People are already comparing him to Ray Lewis

He wouldn’t have played at LSU.

It was an option but he was too good at tailback.

LF7 wasn't tough enough for that position.

Funny how your post is an entire dissertation but you're too lazy to say Leonard Fournette.

LF has a serious wiggle problem, which would hurt him attempting to get off blocks.

Coming out of high school LF was know to be a better RB that also played LB and DW was known to be a better LB that played RB. I’m sure they might have been a shell of themselves had either of them chose the other position.

Wouldn't have been as good as Trindon Holliday at defensive end

No. Just no. He played LB in high school as well. Where do you get this shite from?

He would have been a 5* LB

I’m going to say something now that feels gross but it’s how I truly think- athleticism isn’t what sets Devin apart from Leonard.

Devin has a burning desire to be great. Devin worked his arse off every single day and still grinds to be great.

Leonard coast a little bit.

I think if Leonard had devins work ethic he’d be a top 3 back in the league.

Not necessarily LB, but he would have been great at safety. When he played 7 on 7 in high school, they always raved about how good a safety he was.
