Don't know why this movie wasn't bigger. It only grossed 2.8 million dollars worldwide. It has a 7.1 rating on IMDB.

And...

Cost 47 mil to make and grossed $3,600 bucks in the US. It has a 7.8 rating on IMDB.

I just finished ghost and the darkness. Meh. Nice visuals, but the story wasn’t great. Also, the jump scares where lions are jaws didn’t do much for me.

Ravenous

Fantastic movie. Cool soundtrack. Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle. Unique. Creepy. Fun. Weird.

I'm pretty sure I've never seen Ravenous.

But this is my go-to, and I posted it on page three without even realizing this was discussed on page one.

Event Horizon for me. It was rushed and didn't do well at the box office.

It did do well in rentals, etc, afterward.

I had never heard of it and just ran across on Netflix years ago and it had me on edge.

My Way was a decent war movie although highly implausible. Great action scenes when the Koreans are conscripted to fight for the Japanese against the Russians. I think the movie was probably a blockbuster in Korea although I had never heard of it.

Also, I enjoyed Inferno quite a bit (with Robert Ryan).

I will recommend Breaker Morant. It is an Australian movie about a court marshal of Australian troops during the Boer War. Everything about it excellent.

If you like a what in the world is going on movie with a twist ending, I would recommend first "Stay" and then "Vanilla Sky".

For comedy, try out the Gods Must Be Crazy II and then I.

And if you like Westerns/Civil War, try out The Assassination of Jesse James, Ride with the Devil, Lonesome Dove.

Feel good movies, Local Hero and Babettes Feast(wifes like that one and I even liked it.)

Music documentaries...Rush Beyond the Lighted Stage.

Have fun.

Bone Tomahawk

Least amount of dialogue in any movie I have ever seen, with the exception of "A Quiet Place".

But man it delivers
