How about permanently revoking their license.

No... Biden has not.

But whoever is running things for him just made a fairly crafty move...but I am sure Desantis has other moves as well.

But hell no.. Biden personally has not out maneuvered anyone in several years

Stellar work, RCT. You've demonstrated folks' aversion to doing to Desantis the exact same thing they have done to Trump. Judge him and criticize him on a complicated issue that we may or may not know about well enough in the first place to even be issuing pass or fail grades. The unequal approach is much more stark than I expected it would be.

**Honestly, well done. I didn't want to seem facetious above. I do hope people will recognize this phenomenon and apply the same benefit of the doubt to Trump.

Great question. I think his next move should be to declare an emergency and offer state funded vouchers to those in districts who decide to mandate masks.

Thought he said he would do this or was that another state? This is the answer.

It was Desantis who said it is abusive to children to make them wear a mask all day everyday in school.

See, we have a federal hegemony in this country where they have the power to do anything. But this is a state matter. The governor has to stand firm. It's not enough to say something and stand firm and point at the camera ... and then cave.

WTF will this do for us in the long run.

Issuing vouchers or waivers for kids to attend other schools without mask mandates would not only address the issue but harm the schools requiring masks as they are funded based on enrollment.

That applies to trump more than anyone I’ve ever seen. We got what a few miles of a border wall. Fricking grifter

Maybe, but I just want to make it clear that alot of GOP rising stars have talked good games. Desantis isn't the first.

He needs to defeat the intention of the feds, by providing those kids an education without a mask on, just like he promised, or he will just be another politician

And no, being scared of what Biden and his thugs might do is no excuse.

You maybe right and I am just unaware that he said he would.

To me, it just makes the most sense because it offers the parents an opportunity to choose, allows children to have access to schools, and puts the school district and Biden on the defensive.

I think it would be especially powerful if any of these districts are in low-income, disadvantaged districts with poor performing schools. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some parents jump at the chance to make a change.

Like I said already if you want your kids to get real education and not indoctrination you gotta get them out of public school now. Not tomorrow. Not after breakfast. Now

I agree. But this thread is about Desantis and who he really is.

We are about to find out.

I'm not anti Desantis and I'm not a fanboy.

You can't reason with some of these so called conservatives. They'd be trapped in a burning building and bitch about the color of the fire truck
