So because America pulled out in the middle of the night nobody trusts anybody (except for the taliban) and nobody is working together (except for the taliban).
Great job guys. Great job.

If true, what the hell.
The saga of that particular German evac plane is crazy. It circled Kabul for five hours. When it was finally able to land, the pilots were told very few, or no Germans were at the airport, which was documented to be 100% incorrect info. The plane was then directed to take off so it wouldn't hold up other planes. It had 7 Germans on board when hundreds were supposed to be ar the airport waiting for evac.

Yeah, meanwhile this is going: Very disturbing, little girls begging the US military to let them into the airport.
I didn't see any little girls
That said, and while not ideologically consistent with my other positions - we started this shite, we've left a vacuum there, any little girl over there can have an all-expenses paid ticket to America IMO. They've known nothing but a world where there were gatekeepers and at least some societal order that looks out for them. I'll take all of them to keep them from seeing what happens next.

It is also the reason why the Afghan Army had no air support. We left in such a hurry that no transfer of power/authority to the Afghans who were to direct air support happened.

The exact fricking drum I've been beating for days now.
People keep wanting to blame the ANSF for surrendering. Well no fricking shite they surrendered. They had all their support leave in the middle of the fricking night without even telling them. So much for being "allies"
That was a huge gut punch, and it directly lead to what we're seeing now.

With everything that keeps coming out of our military via back channels, laying this debacle squarely at the feet of the Afghan Army "not wanting to fight" doesn't stand up. This becomes even more clear if Saleh is able to continue rallying troops in the North.

Apparently, Afghani President Ghani has released a video for the first time. FoxNews doesn't have a translator though.
