Tiger stadium at 100% capacity

The ticket office keeps repeating this and I just don’t get it. I’m ready for this farce to end but there is no way in hell JBE allows 100% capacity without something. He posted a tweet about the LA Wallet and it having access to your proof of vaccine today.
Am I crazy to think that it’s gonna be 100% capacity “as long as you show proof of vaccination and obviously wear a cheesecloth over your face”?
Also, LSU knows what’s coming but refuses to say anything. Such BS.

LSU won’t say shite till the week of the game. Blee Dat

Now will we have to get a rapid COVID test before entering, or show proof of vaccination?

I don’t know. LSU won’t say anything. But there is no possible way that you can align JBEs “concerns” and a 100% traditional Tiger Stadium.

Maybe because nobody on the planet has any idea what things will be like 4 weeks from now? We are still too far away to be talking in "definites".

Don’t worry, if the federal government/FAA is not requiring proof of vaccination to fly on an airplane, no way a state government is gonna ask for it for an outdoor sporting event. This is all an effort to scare you into getting the shot. They (gov) don’t care one bit about your health, this for their statistics heading into a midterm.

Idk I mean Louisiana is having more cases right now than almost any state at any point in the pandemic and it’s hospitalizations/deaths are back up to winter levels. I would be concerned about having 100,000 people crammed, maskless screaming at each other too

But why is it the governors problem? Enter at your own risk. If you don’t want to take the risk or be at risk DONT GO TOTHE DAMN GAME. Very simple

As someone who is vaccinated, this is bull and a HIPAA violation.

Jbe thinks he has a bigger political future. He's playing games locally. Who among you voted for that fool.

Smart advice for John Bel Edwards. Watch Florida.
Governor Ron DeSantis is the model. Find the moderate path.

In theory this makes sense, but in reality you aren’t just putting yourself at risk, unless you plan on quarantining alone for 14 days after. What about Monday when you go to work and expose people to what you got at the game? Or when you go to the grocery store or even just run into a gas station? The more people that go the more it spreads to people outside of the game and eventually leads to higher hospitalizations and deaths. Especially in a state that is mostly unvaccinated. I want full stadiums back as much as anyone but unless hospitalizations go down it’s not realistic.

So how many years are you prepared to do this for? 3? 5? 10?
frick off with this. We are done with covid life.

You don’t have to get mad, I’m just telling you why we might not have 100% capacity with fans that are unmasked and unvaccinated. Just because “you’re done with covid life” doesn’t mean that other people are. There are still people at risk that want to get back to normal just as bad as you, but can’t because people care more about the capacity of ppl in the stands at a football game than the capacity of hospitals. I don’t know how long this will last, we aren’t dealing with just covid anymore it’s now the more contagious delta variant that was impossible to see coming. We have to adapt with it and try to get as many people vaccinated as possible so our hospitals don’t fill up.

So how long are you willing to put up with restrictions? If it takes another 2 years, is that acceptable?

You sound like you are scared of getting sick. As stephen17 so eloquently stated it, stay out of the stadium.

Trust me I know this sucks. I’ve gone back and forth on what we should do because there really is no right answer, but we don’t have many options at this point. We can’t just say “well screw it I don’t want to do this anymore” because it would make everything that we’ve done to this point mean nothing. We have a vaccine, everyone should get it. It’s proven to decrease the effect of covid by a lot. Once everyone gets it and hospitalizations go down then we reevaluate. If we need a booster in a year, get the booster. We have one tangible thing to combat this virus, yet people have politicized and criticized it to the point that operation warp speed was for nothing. And no Screaming Viking I’m not afraid to get sick at all, I’ve had Covid and was uneffected and I’m vaccinated. I’m worried for the people that can’t get a hospital bed because it is filled with Covid patients that refused to get vaccinated. I have no gain in this, im just caring for other people.

In a perfect world 90%+ of Americans would be vaccinated and covid wouldn’t have nearly the effect. But when our state is in the 40% range and hospitalizations are as high as ever it’s hard to justify saying screw it and letting everything go. Keep in mind this is shi*ty for everyone not just you. Think of how I feel, I social distanced, got vaccinated and still might not be able to go out anymore because of ppl being scared and selfish

As schools re-open, all anyone has to do is watch the number hospitalizations and deaths from covid-19 change.
If hospitals have fewer cases, then maybe there will be fewer restrictions.
Get the free vaccination, then your chances of attending home games in tiger stadium go up.

Yea this isn’t true but ok. The death rate is still ridiculously low for a virus that we’re repeatedly shutting the world down over
