By that logic everything on the graph is inaccurate because doesn’t include information from 2019 or 2022.
I was waiting for the genius to get there on his own.

It’s incomplete. It’s not inaccurate. Past data points and the trends on the graph aren’t tainted just because the latest update hasn’t happened yet.
This guy gets it. Porksand does not.

Yep, why this is still a thing is mind boggling.

Even reading this thread you can see people promoting the vaccine saying that it will keep you from getting Covid. That is obviously NOT the case! In fact, I'm noticing most of my vaccinated friends getting Covid now.
So if the vaccinated are getting Covid and the only reason they can provide to get the vaccine is that it Covid won't hurt as bad, then that would mean they are easier to SPREAD COVID. So why again are businesses and govts saying that only the unvaccinated have to wear masks? People are slowly catching on that the vaccine isn't even close to what they were saying it was. There isn't a valid reason to inject yourself with this if your body has been fighting it off naturally just fine. Maybe if I was someone who caught the flu every year, but I haven't been sick in like 10 years.
Just wait, if we had real Scientific methods and a truthful media, they would get to the bottom and figure out that the vaccine and masks are more of a problem than the actual virus.

The rightmost part highlighted in grey. You know, the part with the footnote that says it's not accurate due to delays in the data.
That doesn't make the entire graph inaccurate though. The latest data points won't invalidate the rest of it.

A factually correct statement is that the vaccine reduces your chance of contracting Covid and its current variants. It does not nor has ever eliminated those chances.
There's also data to support the conclusion that vaccinated individuals are less likely to experience symptoms serious enough to warrant hospitalization. But again it isn't full proof.
No vaccine is 100% effective. And no widely used vaccine is administered correctly 100% of the time.
This is unfortunately a case where individuals need to make pretty big health care decisions based on incomplete data. It's complicated by a severe lack of credibility of our government officials, government institutions, social media companies, and the journalism industry. Good luck to anyone pondering the decision to vaccinate or not. I've made my decision to vaccinate based on the available data. But I can see why other people (particularly younger people) might choose differently.

Because death is not the only downside of catching the bug. Being knocked out of work for a while or maybe ending up in a hospital or having long term effects also suck and are worth avoiding.

There should be no restrictions/masks/etc. anywhere in this country. Let Covid run its course and live your lives.
Louisiana is such a God damn fricking shite hole bringing back the useless masks. Terrible state and JBE is a retard.

Same can be said for the vaccine

Sure.
Around 30% of people experience “long term” (3+ months) effects of covid
Around .000025% of people experience “long term” effects from the vaccine
Gubmint aint gonna make you get no shot tho cause it may be dangerous amirite

If a date isn't plotted, then it can't be inaccurate. Duh. If a date is plotted, but with incomplete data, then it is and must be inaccurate.
It's really not that hard to follow along, guys.

To repeat, the part of the graph that we are interested in is inaccurate because it is missing data.
This ain't quantum mechanics, fellas. It's a really simple concept.

My friend is going back to school in Lafayette and went yesterday to pick up her books for the semester. She has a 8 month old baby with Down's Syndrome and he was with her.
The security guard refused to let her in to pick up her books with the baby unmasked. The baby. 8 months old.
The guard bragged that she had turned someone around earlier in the day with an unmasked 6 month old.

I hate these arguments.
If one was 100% certain to catch COVID, then yes. To avoid longer term effects, the vaccine would be the lower risk option. However, not everyone is going to catch it. Where as, you have a choice to get the vaccine. So choosing to get it would dramatically increase your odds of long term side effects.
I had a major surgery where a certain side effect of the surgery was mentioned, but not given serious consideration due to the low odds of getting it. Guess what? I’m one of the 5% that get First Bite Syndrome. Given what I know now, not sure I’d have gotten that surgery.

Yeah, I still don't think anyone medical or otherwise has a firm handle on the Vaccine debate - I don't pretend to know who the authority is - but on the mask...man it's just plain rational common sense why those don't work and if one can't understand something so simple and obvious by now - and many still cannot - we're doomed to still have to wretch around like lemmings to go some of the places we want to go.

I know right? Using common sense instead of just regurgitating the lines about the vaccinated being less susceptible to catching Covid. There is no real data to prove this assertion. Everything they have said has been debunked, but go ahead and swallow that line. Wear your diaper over your mouth pretending it's doing something and take a few more boosters that do nothing except increase your chance of stroke. I'll be over here with my natural immunity using common sense and understanding what I'm seeing in real life.
Moron? Coming from you that's a compliment.

That is really fricking pathetic.
That is the exact reason why this country is such a dumpster fire right now. Because of people like that.
