It's become their new thing to post a thread on the Poli board then come here and post the exact same thread.

Considering how insane that group seems to be, the fact that 40% are vaccinated might be the strongest support for the vaccines that I’ve seen yet

The American Medical Association (AMA) today released a new survey (PDF) among practicing physicians that shows more than 96 percent of surveyed U.S. physicians have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19
How many were surveyed? How many responded? Don’t see it anywhere on the link. They reference an increase from an earlier survey. There was a link for that. No numbers at that link either.
Ok, found the survey info in there. Says about 301 surveyed. Cool.

AAPS is a conservative propaganda organization. Why is the right so gullible?

I have never heard of them and am a practicing physician. Most doctors I know got vaccinated as soon as possible. I am not aware of any unvaccinated docs I work with.

It's scarier that it spreads so quickly.
Here's one headline that counters what every other organization says, so clearly it is the correct one. Let's not read into it or the organization itself, and share it so more people can only read the headline and blindly believe it.
I want to know how OP found it in the first place.

I’ve never heard of AAPS and I’d assume a vast vast majority of physicians in this country have been vaccinated.
BUT anytime you’ve got nurse, CrimsonFever, and Zappas Stache railing on a post/poster it’s hard not to think there is some truth to whatever they are opposing.
i’d bet you think Vox is a moderate news organization.

On its face that should ring false to anyone reading it. That's lower than the % of US adults that are vaccinated.

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) is a conservative non-profit association that promotes medical disinformation, such as HIV/AIDS denialism, the abortion-breast cancer hypothesis, vaccine and autism connections, and homosexuality reducing life expectancy. The association was founded in 1943 to oppose a government attempt to nationalize health care. The group has included notable members, including American Republican politicians Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Tom Price.

So like, 60% of 0.05% of the total physicians in the US responded to a solicited, unverified, internet survey that they were not vaccinated eh?
Is that supposed to mean more than nothing? I'm confused.

Never even heard of this organization.
Most of the physicians I know are vaccinated. I know a few who aren't. I know a few who opined negatively about the vaccination, but were in line anyway to get the vaccination. There's are a fair bit of doomsday preachers as well.
From an anecdotal standpoint, there's seems to be a difference between the surgeons and the medicine physicians. I find the former tend to be vaccinated but rather lackadaisical regarding masking etc. The latter on the otherhand will be the ones still wearing a mask in a meeting where everyone else is vaccinated.
But whatevs, I'm just hoping all this nonsense comes to an end in the future whether we get better control through vaccination or through natural infections or we just learn to live with the seasonal spikes like every other virus.

says the guy who celebrates when someone dies of COVID who isn’t vaccinated or does have the same political views as you

The same peoples shitting on this organization will be the same people wondering why medical schools stopped distinguishing between male and female
Just a reminder, the “esteemed” AMA organization supported protesting for George Floyd during the pandemic. They are a leftist medical organization

That's what I was thinking. In a "non random" sample, they were free to pick and choose to support their position and they still came up with 40% vaccinated.
