We have no more beds. We can’t provide adequate care. Basically a medical crisis.

If that’s the case then the state needs to take more drastic steps than mask guidelines that go into effect in two days. I’m talking about a return to limiting interactions that were used in 2020 to so call flatten the curve. Otherwise this is all BS and a ploy to scare people into getting vaccinated.

Just hang on a couple of weeks and Chancellor Biden's great "leadership" as praised by CNN, we will suddenly see a marked drop in "cases".

JBE can finally put those 25,000 ventilators that he ordered to good use.

The CMO at North Oaks, after describing the horror show at their facility, went on to admit the vaccination rate for their staff is 43%.

I wish I could whine about being busy at my job and have the full force of the government implement restrictions on an entire population to make my job easier.

Pretty sure he sold those already at a discount.

No one dies wheezing for air if their burger doesn’t get flipped on time. Your job doesn’t matter.

Its BS
Ask yourself if hospitals are once again being compensated for "covid" diagnosis

That's funny because you insinuated I work at a burger joint. I get it.

But I still feel the same way, great joke though. Never heard that one before. Such a great independent thinker you must be.

You’re on tigerdroppings posting the same lame joke that’s been beaten to death here. Who lacks independent thought?

The vaccine is a safe way to get out of this pandemic. It helps those in your community with weakened immune systems. It helps keep people healthy and is the quickest way to get back to life.

This board idolizes those who “made the ultimate sacrifice” in battle, but when asked to take 30 mins out of their day to help their community and get a vaccine, they can’t be bothered. Its shameful.

Everyone is tired of the mask bullshite. You know where they aren’t reinstating mask mandates….

Everywhere else where people are more than 60% vaccinated. Do your part.

Hospitals are compensated for everything either through insurance or medicare/medicaid. Depending on the patient’s insurer, they get a differing reimbursement percentage.

They make far more money from elective procedures than they do from covid. They are having to pause a lot of those if not all when they reach this type of capacity with covid patients.

Covid patient overflows are not financially beneficial for hospitals compared to their normal course of business.

Myth busted. Get a vaccine.

Any Pharma sales reps on here? What’s the deal these days? It’s the hospital director that seemed to outline protocol. Just wondering.

I hadn't read nor heard what I posted on this site. I suppose it could have been posted by another person that understands that people in the medical industry should expect to have to treat sick people and some of them may die. They should also expect there may be a pandemic at some point and they may be busy.

They and the government have had ample time to prepare. Imposing restrictions on the populace by the government on behalf of private hospitals because of their failures I disagree with.

Many ER doctors have taken hourly pay cuts.. the problem is the hospitals make money from elective activity which has been decreased… thus decreasing their revenue. ER doctors are well paid and most are contract and paid by the hour. They sign contracts each year with hours and pay agreements with the hospitals. They are working so many hours the hospitals can not afford to pay high dollar salary without the funds from more elective stuff… thus they asked the er doctors to take a pay cut… I know some of y’all say the doctors have to or good by… we’ll maybe but many do not since they have contracts… and at this point er docs still in demand .. regardless of covid…

Yes the er doctors are making bank .. they usually contract 120-140 hours a month… they are putting in many more than that… and most would rather not and do not need the extra money…
