This is basically the same return from the deadline. Some of you guys are not following what was being offered for Zo. It was not good, Zo is overhyped from Twitter and talking heads. Teams weren't offering him shite
Definitely not buying this.

I'd bet we could have gotten more than a backup PG and a 2nd round pick.

Right and people are melting bc Griff hasn’t exactly inspired confidence. 8 out of every 10 player personnel and coaching moves have been absolute trash. He really hasn’t earned any benefit of the doubt. It’s up to him to prove to us and more importantly Zion, that he isn’t a fraud and his time to do so is running out.

Zach Collins 3 yr 22 mil to the Spurs per Woj

Bobby Portis 2 yr 9 mil back to Bucks per Shams

Bobby especially is honestly worth that full MLE or a bit more imo

Shams is saying he passed on more money from the Mavs and Heat in favor of staying with the Bucks

Damn

These are going to make 3/65 for Dinwiddie look really bad.

Mike Muscala 2 yr 7 mil to return to OKC per Woj

Another stretch big I like. He lit us up in a few games this year.

Jaxs kept letting him shoot wide open threes and then he was benched for 2 months lol

Dinwiddie about to get alot more than that. I wanna see this board sunshine pump this FO when we give Dinwiddie 4/$90-100.

I have to assume at this point that the rumors about us being the leading team for Dinwiddie are true, or there is some other move cooking in the background, otherwise, 1.) there was the rumored Devonte Graham, Marcus Smart moves all from credible sources, so clearly those were options, but would have been more expensive. 2.) this option allows the freeing up of cash to go after that Dinwiddie or something.

Problem is, if the other part of your plan doesn't fall into place you just let a coveted asset walk for pennies on the dollar. And I speculate that if we roll into next season with Satoransky, JV, and bench guys, Zion will be two steps out the door.

Shitty S&T...I would prefer to keep Lonzo.

Satoransky and Temple are just downgrade and even if we have better cap space, NO is a small market...We must overpay good players, the players willn't play at NO else...

The problem is most of those guys are likely downgrades in terms of roster needs. This just reeks of grasping for mediocrity out of desperation by Griffin.

What a bummer going from pursuing Lowry or Paul, then Dinwiddie or Graham, and then landing Satoransky.

Alex Len 2 year deal to stay with Sac per shams

All I remember is Len actually have Zion a lot of trouble in one of our matchups against Sac this year.

One of the few bigs that gave Zion trouble at any point this year.

In fairness, landing Sato doesn't mean we can't land Dinwiddie or Graham.

Now we have no choice but to drastically overpay for a Dinwiddie, Powell or Fournier. And I like Powell and Fournier as players, but not at the contract we're gonna have to offer.

Yeah, but half the board is going to talk themselves into fairy tales again like they did with flipping Houston's trash for legit pieces or the ghost of Greg Oden to dominate the league in a wheelchair.
