No way we land all of them. Just no possible way. If so, Johnson is a man on a mission that nobody can stop and he will do it alone if he has to.

Seems like Tutko is the help right now and hats off to whatever him and Wanaka are doing, but for Jay to not have a recruiting coordinator or a pitching coach and have all this interest and land 2 top guys in the portal is pretty ridiculous.

Collin Price, a catcher from a school I'm forgetting.

He's not being followed by LSUBaseballData, but he is by Jamie Tutko.

Question: Is Bregman helping with NIL deals? I thought a saw that mentioned somewhere, but I'm not really sure.

W.W. said, "What is the price". How'd you do it, right?

A guy on 247 who is typically in the know (mostly with football) said he heard there could be another boom today but it's not guaranteed. Also KR hinted on twitter there should be some assistant coach news soon....

Without me knowing his background, why would you want a guy who just got fired?

He's a good recruiter and a good defensive coach.

Nobody quite knows why they fired him. He really was a hitting coach that got moved to pitching coach in 2020 so they could make room for Tulo. Here's the thing though...Texas team ERA in those years

2020 - 2.59
2021 - 2.93
2022 - 4.28

this year was easily the worst year but it was still good enough for #1 in the Big 12 and #22 in the country + injuries to an ace and their closer had a rough year (maybe it's his fault, idk). He feels like a scapegoat. Even if we didn't want him as a PC, I would bring him in as the RC and fielding coach

Pretend like you didn’t know he just got fired and check his background. Just to scratch the surface, Texas was the #1 defense in the nation. He has experience coaching defense, hitting, pitching, pretty much everything…and did it well. And, he recruits really well.

I would pair Allen with a pitching coach or at least someone that could help with the pitching side and defense. Jay and Wanaka can handle the hitting side.

Cheesebrough is another guy I’ve always liked from the standpoint of being able to work with catchers. He doesn’t completely fit the mold of what we need but I would still be ecstatic with him.
