I don’t know why people are just automatically writing off Thompson. He’s a good player.

Im not.
But I know Pineda and Young arent transferring in to sit. Young from arguably the top program in country lately.

And it wasnt an issue until White committed and seems destined for 3rd.

So only 2 spots for 3 MIFs who all expect to play.
Not to mention no spot for Dugas either. Good problem to have

If I had to pick the next one to drop it would be Skenes. Weekend Pitcher plus another big bat in one player

If we pull Young, Thompson might be in limbo?

New assistant coach is NOT TJ Bruce from Nevada. Bad tweet by Mike Stefansson, a TV anchor in Reno. Sorry, everyone!

I can confirm Nevada baseball coach TJ Bruce leaving Reno for Baton Rouge to be Associate HC at LSU alongside former Wolf Pack coach Jay Johnson.

Kendall had that earlier, just an odd thing to tweet and delete.

The Original tweeter corrected himself. Bruce going to TCU.

I would rather Denton than Carter. Elite fielder better bat.

I don't understand the Carter Young thing. He isn't White or Pineda. He isn't good enough to assure him a starting position. He's basically in the same boat as Thompson. They both have to prove themselves in order to start. And I don't know why he would want to go somewhere where he wasn't assured of starting. Our offense isn't really in the spot to take potential or tools and hope they translate. I get taking Little. Our pitching is so depleted that it is in that position.
