Unfortunately Latoya is always a couple of days ahead of JBE like clockwork.

This will be a mask mandate.

BR continued high #s of hospitalizations over the weekend?

They are the area approaching April 2020 #s though I assume the hospitals actually have some sort of understanding of how to specifically deal with Covid now as opposed to then.

Back to back work days with a press conference. Dude loves to hear himself speak, that's for sure.

Oh. Yeah. We did

Did we? With all of the evidence of election fraud piling up in Georgia and Arizona, it’s seeming more and more plausible that many of our elected rulers_ I mean representatives, were never legitimately voted for at all, but rather installed by fraud and corruption.

3 day growth of 47 is a good sign

Thats slowing down considerably from a rate perspective

Just doing the math in my head, roughly 14% of the patients are vaccinated then, and vaccinated make up about 40% of the pop.

So that's about what you would expect to find.

Over the past few workdays, we've had a large hospital, several school boards, and two very large companies tell contractors that starting today, they will need to wear masks now (regardless of vaccination status). The hospital is very close to requiring all contractors be vaccinated.

Given how close together each of the announcements were, I'm 99% sure that the slimy cocksucker is bringing back the mask mandate. Hopefully the bars that I go to won't give a shite, but Honor Code used the ATC to go after the non-masking places last time. I don't want to live in this state (or country) right now.

Things like that don't matter to Jon Bel Dumbass. He just needs his fix of power.

i noticed the Rt only went from 1.58 to 1.50 over the weekend. However, since Louisiana doesn't even report on the weekends i imagine that could explain the slowing of the drop.

WH official this am: “B lockdown speech being drawn up this week…they’re planning to make it sound like one of the most solemn in history, real Bush on the night of 9/11 type stuff. Would start stocking up if I were y’all”

I’d feel better about calling this BS if the guy didn’t have over a million followers and other countries weren’t locking down.

If he reinstitutes a mask mandate the legislature should do whatever it takes to strip him of his emergency powers.

I know they tried before but this is fricking ridiculous.

They should make their recommendations and then tell people to make the best decision for their on personal health reasons. This should be the same on masks, vaccines, distancing, staying home, etc.

I don't understand the Rt tool at all

I just hope hospitalizations peak at some point this week as to not give them any more ammo

them saying it could be October before they peak seems asinine

considering the rate is already decreasing i would have to agree October seems like a big stretch.

they won't do shite. They have failed every time when they challenge him. Every win just makes him cockier and more arrogant.

I agree....obviously what they should do and what they will do are 2 very different things.
